This is an archive of the saga of Gary and Harriet, two snails in love. Gary was a wild and crazy guy who met Harriet, and as a consequence, settled down to married life with children. He has stepped up to the plate and become a caring father and a great husband. Harriet is a happy mom who loves her family dearly. We follow their journey using their own family photos, and look forward to each new entry with happy anticipation. But the story isn't here; it's in the body of the thread in pictures.
They are, of course, Conservative, and they have agreed to having their life story told here on Free Republic.

I thought they could be strung together to make a story, so with Joe’s permission, I did so.

Newborn snails are the most darling little things. You can see how small they are from the graphic that you gave me. Their shells are soft, and they're so trusting, it's amazing.
Then they turn into the scourge of the garden, LOL!
But I do love Gary and Harriet.

I've seen the baby snails on our sidewalks in the morning. They are very tiny and cute. We don't have a garden, and snails don't seem to do any damage to what landscaping we have. Our only worry is stepping on them. It sometimes requires an adult version of hopscotch to avoid them. Geriatric aerobics for me. :)

Oh, I see what I did. I had a "width" designation, but I was going to delete it, got distracted, and left it as width="".
It is really weird that it gave a zer0-width picture for you, but displayed normally for me.
