October 28, 2011--The St. Louis Cardinals have won the world series in an improbable, luck-filled and quirky convergence of events.
For example, the number of dribblers Lance Berkman hit that rolled like bocci balls through the infield was exceeded only by the dribbles in Tony LaRussa's depends.
Okay, let's allow these Cardinal fan cretins a little superficial happiness for once. It has probably been years since some of these fat losers have even cracked a smile.
But the real story of the 2011 world series is that the all time villan of MLB, Tony LaRussa,a piece of human garbage and a criminal-minded coward, was somehow able to hijack the fall classic and "win" the series. He deserves NO credit whatsoever.
Tony the Pants Pisser, who would drill his own mother (with a baseball you perverts), should be banned from baseball for his prolific practice of throwing at opposing batters. And, he should have been banned years ago for condoning Mark McGwire's blatant steroid abuse.
This is a permanent stain on MLB, and LaRussa caused it.
To see this piece of garbage standing in the Cardinals'dugout with Mark McGwire, the biggest fraud in the history of the game, is an utter disgrace.
NO ONE in America wanted the Cardinals to win. Their fraudulent presence in the world series was a total disgrace.
The 2011 Fall Classic has been besmirched and will forever be marked with a black asterisk.
If you remember, Granderson did something similar in ‘06. Not so much miss-judged, but slipped on the wet grass.
Tigers’ pitchers couldn’t field the ball worth a darn in that series.
That would make an interesting monument bronzed. According to ol' BigJohn44 we are going to have McGuire's needles bronzed and LaRussa's depends preserved in the Hall of Fame!
“If the Cardinals played hard and won out I could understand”
That is exactly what they did do, in historically unprecedented fashion, from approximately mid-August on.
“... 99% of the other teams in the past that made the World Series would have crushed the Cards in 4-5 games with all the mistakes they made”
“Crushed”. Utter nonsesne. Mistakes are part of the game; all teams everywhere, in all sports. Additionally, there are many DIFFERENT paths to winning. Finally, the line between winning and losing is a very fine one, as exemplified by this past World Series.
“If you remember, Granderson did something similar in 06. Not so much miss-judged, but slipped on the wet grass.”

St. Louis fans will never forget. It was a mirror image of 1968, a kind of full-circle restitution for what had happened 40 years previously.
Then too, there were all those E-1’s the Tigers pitching staff committed.....
He gets the best out of his players...at the right time.
This is the worst crybaby, rant/vanity, waste of bandwidth I’ve seen here in a long time.
And that’s saying a lot.
He only won a World Series title tonight...!!!!
How close to the brewery do you live??
BARTENDER - BigJohn has had enough - Someone CALL A CAB!
Your hatred for Tony and Mark is obvious - are they POS? I am not an authority on POS, obviously you are so I will take your word for it. In the meantime the honorable people of St. Louis and the St. Louis Cardinal PLAYERS played to win and won! Hats off to the Texas Rangers for a great 7 game series.
;-)
Why any honest fan of the game would support these two misfits is beyond me . . .
...bottom line though, they just didn't play well enough to win.
I like your style. This World Series is proof that Satan resides in the Cardinals’ dugout.
I'm happy the Cardinals won the series but could not help but feel a tinge of pain seeing the camera pan to Nolan Ryan with one out in the ninth. The Rangers have built one heck of an organization, and one that will be strong for several seasons.
They'll be back, my FRiend... Spring is just around the corner.
(And go easy on the Mariners this coming year, will ya? :D )
...sez you!
Wow, what would a sore loser sound like if not this?
I had a friend who went to game 6, wearing his Rangers jersey and he had nothing but good things to say about the Cardinals fans in the stands. Something tells me if we had been playing the Phillies and he went, he might have a different story to tell.
I felt bad for Nolan, and for the players and coaches, but I was also happy the team went as far as they did.
I tell ya though, after game 6, I felt as bad emotionally as I did when I went through my divorce, seriously. IT HURT!!
Today is a new day, and I assume the sun will come up later....
There’s no crying in baseball, you know.
NO ONE in America wanted the Cardinals to win!?!?
What a rotten, sore loser thing to say. I sure did. Everyone I work with did. Every one I know wanted the Cardinals to win.
I’m sorry your team lost, but jeez louise, what a pathetic sore loser vanity post. Grow up. If my Cards had lost, I’d have gone to bed and dreamed about what could have been, not immediately race to FreeRepublic to post an embarrassing rant.
Grow up. Texas pulled off the biggest Choke since the Red Sox in 1986.
Yeah and 1978 and 2010 and...
Buckner actually thought that Sox fans would forgive and forget. A lot he knew about Boston, eh?
