I will write-in Herman Cain for President and Allen West for Vie President.
I will vote my conscience.
NO - MORE - RINOS
I guess you missed something.
I agree that the fix is in for Romney. And I don’t think anything can be done about it.
Hi FRiend! Welcome to FR.
The essential thing is beating Obama. Recent polls show that “Any Generic Republican” has that in her (or his) Power.
That being said, Romney is too much of a liberal, and like you said, would not carry forth with the Conservative principles for which we have all worked so hard.
So the solution will be to overwhelm Romney in the Primaries with someone who can beat both him AND Obama.
So I am supporting Herman Cain. His meteoric rise in the polls shows that he resonates with voters of the Tea Party and non-RINO Republicans.
Just my humble opinion, and I am sure will get others.
As I posted in another thread, I will vote for the GOP candidate regardless of who it is, & will do everything I can to get the most conservative senators & representatives elected to push a RINO president in the right direction.
We will not survive another four years of Obama.
The only way they will get Romney is if we split the conservative vote. Really, the only guy who can make that happen (maybe) is Rick Perry.
If keeps shunning Rick, as they are now wisely doing, Cain should be able to win this decisively.

Ross Perot? Alan Keyes? Howard Phillips? Jesse Ventura? Donald Trump? Lyndon LaRouche?
All available. Did I forget anybody?

A small Electromesh glove?
Romney definitely won’t stand up for conservative values. The GOP Congress will have to hold him accountable.
You get two choices on the ballot. You can “vote your conscious”, or vote against Obama.
Choose wisely.
Romney can’t win. The South won’t vote for him in the primary. He’s going to do the same thing he did last time.
He’ll come out of the north east in one of the top three positions and he’ll do a lot of damage to whoever is leading with his false and misleading attack ads. And then once the time the south votes, he’ll be no higher than third, and he’ll drop out again.
TEA Party march on GOP headquarters?
This time in 2007, the media assumed that Giuliani was the frontrunner.

Just a little perspective.
I will vote for the Republican nominee no matter who it is. I hope that is not Romney the chameleon, but if it is I feel I’d have no other choice. Not going to waste my vote on 3rd party candidates that will never amount to anything.
The only real option is working to prevent Romney from being the nominee. In my opinion Perry is the only viable alternative, however if he can’t resurrect his campaign I will probably throw my support behind Newt and hope for the best.
I want Obama out of the White House as well. I also do not want Obama-lite to replace him. I want a Conservative. Right now, I’m open to Perry, Cain, Bachman. Rommney is a non-starter with me.
The only fix that will keep Herman Cain from winning is bickering among conservatives, and that should lessen when candidates start dropping out, and the race becomes the Tea Party against the establishment.
In Romney's case, I am heartily in favor of tar and feathers - but then again, people sometimes tell me I'm a bit old-fashoined...
Your entire history is two Romney threads. No replies by you yet. Since you've been a "long time lurker" you must know that's a no-no? No?
Regardless of who is nominated or elected, we need to control both houses of Congress with large majorities. With Obama or Romney, the best we may hope for is gridlock between the Executive and Legislative branches.
