Sounds like you probably believed the "if the glove don't fit, you must aquit" OJ defense, too. Some things just don't pass the smell test, you know, and in this case there is no doubt Amanda Knox is guilty.

There’s lots of conflicting information in ths case. Early on I was convinced she was guilty, now, not so much.

There ever was only one guilty person and he's still in the slam. Knox was no animal. She was a young inexperienced kid in a foreign country who couldn't speak the language, knew nothing of the customs, was subject to police deception and ineptness. She won her release which leads to contradiction of her fine for defamation of the police. She can't say what she said of the police and be innocent of the crime. If innocent, she was correct in her statements of the police and that makes her statements true, not defamation. She should get out of there as fast as possible. Her family has gone deep into debt, divorced, this fiasco trial has ruined her life and that of her family and I hope they will recover. May she make a heck of a lot of money in movie and other deals.

Defiintely very strange behavour - false accusation of the bar owner (and how did she now it was a coloured person who killed her flat mate?), the double admission that she had been in the flat at the time of the murder, etc, but objectively not enough evidence to convict once the DNA evidence was thrown out.

Time will tell. Remember what happened to OJ.

I read her passport expired while she was in jail.

Passports expire every 10 years for adults and every 5 years for children. She's 24 so she would have been a minor when she first got her passport. I think she's OK there.
