WHERE and HOW will Sarah Palin declare that she is running? [Now that we finally know WHEN...]

WHERE and HOW
do you think Sarah Palin will declare
that she is running for President,
now that we finally know WHEN she will do it?

Within the last week or two,
just about EVERYONE who is ANYONE in the pro-Palin community
has posted online that Governor Palin will announce that she is running for President
on "Constitution Day" --
with virtually NONE of the traditional smackdown and/or denials coming from SarahPAC,
or from any of the usual "insiders" at Team Sarah --
who have generally been VERY GOOD at rumor control.

So, if she really **is** getting into the race on Friday (or Saturday)
WHERE and HOW
do you think that she will do this?

Will she do announce, for example, though a recorded VIDEO,
as an homage to Hillary! -- and a secret signal to the PUMAs?

And, how will she honor her commitment
to let the "Bob and Mark" radio show be "the first to know" of her decision?

Will she do it from her home in ALASKA?

Or from the site of the original Tea Party in BOSTON?
Or, perhaps from PHILADELPHIA -- or even from WASHINGTON, D.C.?

What do YOU think?

Can YOU predict
what the "unpredictable" Sarah Palin will do?

And, how will she get the MAXIMUM media attention?

Please post YOUR predictions on this thread -- for posterity,
if you dare. :o)

“She’s going to announce that she’s running for President as a Democrat!”

That would be too funny. And in some ways a truly inspired strategy.

I think it more likely that she will try to nudge hillary into the race instead. When hillary doesn’t, she’ll push hard for the pumas.

I just want an end to the Kabuki Dance, where Palin detractors mock her, and Palin promoters make her out to be the female equivalent of Bill Brasky, from the SNL sketches. Run Sarah. Or don't.

“Where else can she stand behind that has a reference to the Consitution that could be a launching point and not violate the govt building no political speech rule?”

Would she or should she obey such a rule? And how would you stop it if she chose to simply walk in to the National Archives and announce her candidacy in front of their copy?

And by the way, there is more than one original copy. Each of the 13 original states has one executed copy as well I believe.

So my bet...she’ll announce wherever NH’s copy is kept.

There was fanfare over the termination of the two candidates. It was news because it made them likely to be running. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/03/02/gingrich-santorum-placed-leave-fox-news/ Not a Broadcast Lawyer. An Election Law Attorney. There are legal ramifications having a candidate running and working for the channel. It would be considered an in kind campaign contribution. That is why FOX let them go early from their announcement. They didn't even want the look of trouble. If FOX doesn't do the same for Palin and wait to release her as she announces, FOX is going to be in questionable territory after they let Palin go after Perry this week, campaign style. FOX doesn't want to ruin their reputation as an honest news source.

Bill Brasky was a son of a Bi%ch, an 8 foot tall monster who slept with all of our wives, and punched us all in the face.

Sarah, has been placed in this moment in history to help save our conuntry, our Cincinnatus, PDS'ers say "she needs to be vetted", SHE ALREADY HAS!!! When the moment comes she enters the race the detractors won't know what to do. I don't expect anyone to follow her blindly, I don't want them too, but she has already fought and earned my trust, what she did in Alaska, the 2008 campaign, even after she was Governor. Sarah will fight and Sarah will WIN!

Boy. That last post was a mess. Sorry. Had my HTML all screwed up. Here is something more legible.

There was fanfare over the termination of the two candidates. It was news because it made them likely to be running.

Gingrich, Santorum Placed on Leave From Fox News

I guess one would have to ask a good broadcast contract lawyer...

That last point may be valid: just look on anywhere but FR and look at all the references to Faux News; it'd be interesting to see anyone try to sue them over it.

Cheers!

First, for MANY people, there is more to life than MONEY --

When someone keeps making that claim without any reason to do so I expect it is projection...where one projects their own troublesome personality deficiencies on others....

"And if so, that will be reason number one of about 5,000 why the gop needs to take it’s long overdue place in the dustbin of history."

That isn't about to happen - it simply can't and won't... main reason, building an alternative conservative party won't happen either. It has been repeatedly tried and failed.

What needs to happen is happening. The Tea Party, working within the GOP grassroots, is throwing their weight behind 'real' conservatives, and helping to get them elected. THAT has real possibilities toward moving the GOP rightward. All conservatives need to get out of the house and help in that process, as best they can - locally.

The best way to do that is to become part of the local GOP - and actually VOTE (monthly!) to help keep the RINO's out of power at the bottom of the party-ladder... keeping them from rising to the point where they can vote in conventions, meaning those in their own state - and nationally.

Cleansing the party on an ongoing basis stateside can go a very long way toward cleansing it nationally. Problem is, too many so-called conservatives just won't do more than talk a good-line here, while actually doing nothing where politics really matters - less than a half-hour away from where they live - and doing so on a monthly basis.

The real problem - that would take money, and time, away from talkers on FR - that a large majority of them wouldn't think of giving up.

You jump in to Palin threads needle the faithful, and when the needle turns back suddenly you turn bitter.

I have a sense of humor and I tangle with you regularly. Your comments were not funny. They were a punch in the face. I don't mind, but that is how I read them.

Of course I am going to comment on this thread. We have someone posting a piece divining Palins election timetable on the decals on the side of a diesel bus. You don't find that irrational and funny?

I’m sure there are hundreds of examples throughout history of “good” and “wise” quitting...........

Quitting? Seems to me she is and has been hard at work and right in the line of fire ever since...a little thing called picking your battles. Quitting is putting your tails between your legs and going home...never to be heard from again.

There are indeed. There are also many examples of those who should have quit, but didn't.

Right on the money...

...it'd be interesting to see anyone try to sue them over it.

I don't know about a lawsuit, but it sure would ruffle feathers with the other GOP candidates FOX depends on for interviews and give the Rats a talking point all through the General to discredit them. Might lose Ted Baxter one of his coveted Obummer interviews.

I don't see the upside for FOX waiting till the last minute. It only helps Palin. If FOX and Palin have the agreement you think they might, I would at least see FOX gagging Palin for a month before her announcement to protect themselves. If she didn't say anything on the channel for that spell, no one can come around and ding them. None would be the wiser and Palin could jump on the scene in surprise fashion.

Chiefly it is based on the promises that Palin has made, not the bus. You do not link things like normal people do.

I hope your face doesn’t hurt too bad if that’s the reason you made the stupid comment.

My theory: She will not announce in the traditional manner—i.e., she will not call the lamestream media for an event they can cover.

Her campaign will be run in a manner independent of the lamestream media—i.e., not dependent on the old three broadcast networks or or even the big three cable networks.

I wonder if Zero takes the time to take in a little culture every now and then. You know, like opera, perhaps. He may even be familiar with the tradition of the timing of the Fat Lady’s Song.
