I apologize for the vanity, but some one at the University of Maryland should be fired and flogged for the football uniforms.
They are beyond ugly. If some one finds a picture, please post it.
As soon as I came to the first comment on the Nittany Lion, I thought someone has called them the Nittally Lions. LOL, I should have remembered it was Pres//ent Obama. LOL even more! Almost milk out the nose time!
Hey they play next Saturday! Hope it's the Ducks 0-2. I think Stanford can win the division.
Plus Boston Red Soxs, they keep it to the traditional colors too!

I flipped to it last night, and within three seconds I said, “those uniforms HAVE to go.”
There have been some ugly uniforms in the past (and maybe even the present), but those U of M outfits represent a crime against humanity.
Still better IMO than the Tennessee Flaming Thumbtacks Titans.
The Maryland state flag is very cool, but it does NOT translate well to football uniforms. Good grief, what’s wrong with basic white and red with the big “M” on the helmet, or the silly-looking smiling turtle?

Georgia's were despicable. Oregon's are always atrocious.
The only thing missing from Maryland's and Georgia's uniforms were clown noses and big shoes and coming on to the field in a little car with the players all climbing out.
Whoever designs these things needs to stick to hairdressing and interior decorating.
Miami's uniforms would have look much better...if Nike had included a purse.

Wonder how many high school players say, "I'm not going there and wearing those stupid looking uniforms" or players already on the team saying, "Why did I come here?"
And Boise State...I didn't think their uniform could look uglier than what they wore last year against Virginia Tech, who wore an equally repulsive "outfit" in the opener.

One local sports talk host here said they looked like a bowling ball. I thought that was funny. I dont get why these schools are doing this. Georgia did the same thing. College football is suppose to be about tradition. Now I like the throw back uniform (some of them) but for the most part lets go back to tradition.
The Gators need to lose the orange jerseys......there's a reason Spurrier ditched them when he coached here.
Why would the Seahawks take inspiration from the Orlando Thunder?
Georgia disgraced the SEC with those uniforms.
