Announcing it's "not her lucky day," a federal judge in Washington, D.C., has told an eligibility attorney he has dismissed her case demanding information from the Social Security Administration regarding President Barack Obama's Social Security Number, sought because of suspicions it may be fraudulent.
The case was filed by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has battled many of the major court challenges to Obama's tenure in office based on a lack of evidence that he qualifies under the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural-born citizen."
The case at hand was filed against the Social Security Administration because of evidence that Obama's number was designated for use in Connecticut, when Obama has claimed he grew up in Hawaii and apparently had a Social Security Number there, as he reported he worked in an ice-cream shop then.
There has been no evidence he ever lived in Connecticut, and investigators have described the circumstances as suspicious.
The judge, Royce Lamberth credits Taitz for her dedication to her cause, but boasted that "today is not her lucky day."
He concluded that there's no real interest in determining whether the Obama Social Security Number is genuine or fraudulent, and the need for secrecy for the president trumps all else.
"The SSA explained that the Privacy Act of 1974 ... protects the personal information of social security number holders," he wrote. "The SSA determined ... the plaintiff had identified no public interest that would be served by disclosure."

Of course not /s
Is she any better in the dental office than she is in the courtroom?
Kind of says it all right there. The courts are about protecting those in power and the secrecy surrounding the President.
Through Orly’s persistence, she has pretty well exposed the fact that there simply is no COLB for Obama. The fact that judges keep attempting to stifle her is an indication of how much they fear the public finding out the truth. I applaud Orly for all she has done. Though not perfect, she at least has stepped up to the plate.
Correct. Of course the law makes SS records private, with certain enumerated exceptions. Since "a crackpot former dentist wants access as a part of a political fishing expedition" is not one of those exceptions, the law required the Judge to toss Orly out on her ear.
As has been predicted here before. More than once.
Face it Birthers. Either Orly is one of the worst lawyers in the history of Anglo-American jurisprudence, or she is deliberately filing cases that she knows she will lose, just to keep you folks riled up.
What a frightening thought. Can you imagine a billing dispute with her office, and her calling in the UN blue helmets?
He should be impeached forthwith. Really.
Would the hounorable judge say the same thing if there were compelling evidence that Obama had murdered grandmother?
What happened to all that stuff we heard about Nixon that the President isn't above the law?
I'm serious. Lamberth MUST be impeached and removed.

We’re tired of your filthy mouth and threats.
Any more of it and you’re a goner.
Got it?
Judge Lamberth was the Judge in many of the Clinton lawsuits. He would seem to rule against Clinton but then give unlimited time to scrub the matter. Then it would be moot. For instance, he ruled the clinton admin had to preserve and turn over numerous emails. They made no effort to comply. Then it ruled it was too late. He is another hick in the Libs pockets.
I'll knock off the insults, though.

Lose the attitude.
On this and every other thread you reply on.
“I should not exclude the possibility that Orly is one of the worst lawyers in the history of Anglo-American jurisprudence, and she is deliberately filing cases that she knows she will lose,”
Orly should consider becoming a judge. She’s no worse then us. Have you seen our rulings lately? We get to make things up as we go. Plus we get great pay, phenomenal lifetime benefits, and cool black robes.
Sincerely,
Judge Royce Lamberth
Judge Col. Denise Lind
Judge James Robertson
Judge David Carter
Need for secrecy? How about the need for openness? How about the government serving the people? This was not His lucky day. He showed
he has no concern for the constitution, the law or the people. He will answer a higher power himself someday.
Speaking of Anglo-American jurisprudence, we are going to go down in history ourselves.
Some of our greatest hits.
It’s been “twittered.”
Secrecy for the president trumps all else.
The chain of command ends at the Pentagon.
Sincerely,
Judge Royce Lamberth
Judge Col. Denise Lind
Judge James Robertson
Judge David Carter
Like your thinking!
LOL. If only the Birthers could get their crap together, people might start taking them seriously. But find a conservative-leaning judge who rules on the law, and they start jabbering like monkeys.
“jabbering like monkeys”
You mean like this?
Its been twittered.
Secrecy for the president trumps all else.
The chain of command ends at the Pentagon.
“a judge who rules on the law”
What law?
The “twittering” law?
The President is above being embarrassed law?
The secrecy for the president trumps all else law?
The chain of command ends at the Pentagon law?
Good Lord. Don’t make me post a link to the actual opinion. If I do that, the birthers will run crying like babies.
Taitz v. Astrue.Summary judgment granted, folks. That's legalese for "Taitz bitchslapped."
