Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a six-year contract and a league source told ESPN's Andrew Brandt the deal is worth $100 million.
The Eagles made the announcement Monday night.
A league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Vick's deal contains roughly $40 million guaranteed.
The Eagles designated Vick with their franchise player tag before the lockout and had until Sept. 20 to sign him to a multiyear contract.
Under the franchise tender, Vick was set to earn about $16 million this year. He once had a $130 million deal with the Atlanta Falcons that was the NFL's richest before losing two seasons of his career while incarcerated for 18 months in a federal prison for dogfighting.

Go take, and pass, college level macro and micro economics courses and then amend your silly remark.
Why don’t you mind your own business? Michael Vicks does not deserve the money. Anyone that would do what he did to those dogs deserves nothing. He is not a man of character or decency which is suppose to be what sports should be about.
He may have the ability to play ball; but he is cruel and if he is cruel to those dogs; don’t think he won’t be cruel to people too.
Kind of like people that make baiting or taunting remarks because they like too.
That’s bs.
Get over yourself with your tired remarks about children and dogs. Both are great; however a person like Vicks is not. He may play good ball; but as a human being he stinks.
He’s still a dog killer. He didn’t just kill them either; he abused and tortured them.
Signed, Atlanta Falcons Fan
Keep in mind the vast majority of an NFL contract is imaginary. Teams can opt out at any time and for the sake of ego stroking tend to back load contracts knowing full well they’ll either jettison the guy or give him a new extension that re-back loads before the crazy last 2 years hit. The 40 million guarantee is the figure that matters, the majority of the rest is money he’ll never see.
Not a penny. The NFL’s TV contracts provide more than enough to each team to pay the salary cap. Ticket sales is to pay for stuff like coaches and facilities.
Aye, what a guy!
I so agree.
By apparently blowing off my humble remark by equating cruelty to animals with abortion of unborn infants you have revealed more about yourself than you may have intended.
I accept the obvious fact that Vick has repented and turned a huge corner in his life. His speaking engagements wherein he cautions young skulls full of mush to take a different path than he did rings up points with me, as well. The cherry on top is the news that Joe Gibbs visited Vick in prison and gave him spiritual counsel. I put great weight to Gibbs’ counselling based upon the personal testimony of Dale Jarrett the year he was NASCAR Champ, crediting Gibbs with showing him his need of a Saviour and leading him to put his life into Christ’s hands. CASE CLOSED as far as I’m concerned. But that’s just gullible little old me.
Grow up. I am tired of hearing that crap. You really think accusing innocent people is the way to go? The Democratic method makes you look cheap and less credible.
We are all God’s children.
God is not an intellectual discussion. He is in your soul and your heart and he is your faith. CASE CLOSED.
I will give you supply and demand; however; he still is not worth the money.
I hope your Eagles suck like never before and go down as a disgrace both on and off the field.
dream on girl. You must be a cowboy fan.
I don't give a damn about any NFL team - but I especially hate the Eagles, and their dog torturer front-man, and their idiotic “who cares?” fans.
I hope they are a disgrace on the field.
They are already a disgrace to all decent people off the field.
