There are many here on Free Republic that absolutely love our "Fru-babies". We post pics and follow each other, well I thought it would be terrific if we post the pictures of our 'babies'.

I don't know about you all but mine 'get me through' these nightmarish days. They love me no matter what. They are there and want to be with me no matter what. That includes the way I now look in the mornings! LOL!

As the vet would say - everything. Most incorrigible dog he’s seen.

Tara is allergic to animal protein and just about every airborne item there is. She is a very expensive mess - but somehow, we keep her pretty.

I think God wanted her to come to a sucker like me, because no sane person would put up with it - and mated me up with a husband who wants to do everything to keep her going.

She’s a beauty. How old is she?

Bailey is about 6 years old. Abbi, my black lab, is about 11. They both spend each night in my queen size bed with me, keeping me warm.

Great hunters too...Abbi is getting a little slow though...

Life would be rough without them. They are my sunshine!

LOL! Sorry..I can see how it would wear you down but if you hadn’t stepped up to the plate or were of a different caliber and gave her away...well she probably wouldn’t be here now. You would think that they would have allergy shots for dogs by now. I mean humans have them.

My kitties head to bed when they hear the fan turn on. But my 3 legger/bubby..man he gets so close to me you couldn’t get a piece of paper between us but...he’s like a little furnace. Great in the winter but during this heat well not so much...lol. The crazy thing is, is I hate to move him ‘because I don’t want to disturb him’. Sheesh...can you tell that they ‘own’ me?? lol

This was my best girl. Rhubarb. She used to love curling up under the Christmas tree and looking up into the lights.

*We lost her not long after this pic was taken. It was around midnight on September 24th, 2010, when she succumbed to renal failure caused by advanced non-melatonic skin cancer.

This is our buddy, Nigel. He and Rhubarb were from the same litter - we got them at eight weeks in the summer of '99. He's asleep on the bed behind me with a swollen throat - we think he ate a bee. The Benadryl seems to be helping, though.

This is our newest addition - Scrat. We've had her about three years now. She hears voices in her head. That should be self-explanatory.

I had more pics - including Fred the Turtle - but I had to declare a scorched earth policy in a campaign against a really insidious computer virus. I won, but I'm just now beginning to restore everything from my backup.

She’s such a good kid that a little shredded paper is no big deal and she really digs doing it.

That’s the end of “stuffies” in this house.

It coud’ve killed him and I had no idea he’d eaten it until a week *afterwards*.

Sweet little bed hog.LOL .my lab took 3/4 of the bed. Now she cannot jump up on the bed due to arthritis...I miss her up on the bed..

Looks like your hubby has 1 head, 1 arm; 1- 1/2 arm and a knee. But by the look on his face, he loves it.....:O)
