Hello .... My name is JustAmy and I'm a returning Freepoholic. Happy Monday.

I had not planned to take last week off; it just happened.
We had a good time even tho we did not come home winners.

I have missed much of the thread, tho I did scan it a couple of times.
I don't know if I will ever get all of the pings answered but I will get to as many as possible.

It is good to be home. Marissa goes back to school on Wednesday ... I’m hoping my life will get back to normal then.

I plan to enroll her for another 16 hours of math tutoring. I have not decided whether to enroll her later this month or wait until September. I will wait until she is back in school to make that decision.

Dear Dubya, sorry that I didn't get here sooner.
I read your post last week and you have been in my prayers.
We know that you are in God's hands and we pray that he will touch you with a miracle.
I also pray that with the medication and God's touch, your pain will ease.


Father, we ask that you guide Dubya's doctors in the treatment of this cancer. We ask that you show them the correct path to put it in remission and also the correct dosage of pain medications to relieve his pain. Thy will be done, In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Hey, I agree .... we should have spent last week on the coast and waited until Thanksgiving for the Reno area. It was warm there but not unbearable.

It’s music I grew up with, I am for the most part unhappy with much of the new contemporary music, especially those endless repeating chanting choruses, it just seems there is no message, and no up lifting in them. I just feel the Spirit depart, when they start those up. There are a few I like, but not many.

Well, it is, sort of! I just don't carry the water! ;)

You've probably seen me talk about all the 'flatlanders' (as we call them) that come up here on weekends and in the summer to their "2nd or 3rd homes". They come from the valley and the bay area with their money and their rude attitudes. The businesses up here will cheerfully accept their money but some will let them know their attitudes are NOT acceptable.

One day in the store, the guy behind me in line was doing some complaining about things we 'hillbillies' do. I said to him..."That would be 'hilljillie', thank you! :)
