For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? (Isaiah 43:19, NLT)
The God we serve is not a small God. His plan for your life is not for you to reach one level, get stuck and stay there for 30 or 40 years. His plan is to increase you, open new doors before you, and take you places that youve never imagined. He has something big in your future! Hes already planned out big breaks, big opportunities and big ideas for you. You may have seen Gods goodness in the past, but you have not touched the surface of what God has in your future! God is about to do a new thing!
And what I sense in my spirit is the new thing is going to be far greater than youve ever seen before. Its going to be bigger than you imagined. Its going to be more rewarding than you thought possible. Now youve got to come into agreement and say, Yes, God, this is for me today. Im not going to get stuck where I am. Im not going to go around with little dreams, little goals. I know Youre a big God, and You have something big coming my way!
PRAYER
Father God,
thank You for loving me and choosing me for Your good purposes. I choose to set my affection on You today knowing that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. Give me Your peace and strength as I wait patiently on You.
In Jesus Name.
Amen.

My father was extremely nervous about his first funeral service as a Navy chaplain, but the undertaker assured him that he would prompt him. All went well until, at the close, the undertaker whispered to him to instruct the family to come up and view the body. “Will the family now come forward and pass around the bier,” said my father.
He cringed inwardly when he heard his own words. Later, as my father was leaving, he overheard two of the cemetery workers talking. “I didn’t get any beer,” one said. “Did you?””You heard the chaplain,” the other replied. “It was just for the family.”

When he was president, Calvin Coolidge never turned down an invitation to a social gathering although he never seemed to enjoy himself. When someone finally asked him why he went to the parties, he replied, “Got to eat somewhere.”
Some years ago when our children were still small, I flew home after a 10-day ministry trip. In those days people were allowed to visit the airport boarding area to greet incoming passengers. When my flight landed, I came out of the jet-bridge and was greeted by our little onesso happy to see me that they were screaming and crying. I looked at my wife, whose eyes were teary. I couldnt speak. Strangers in the gate area also teared up as our children hugged my legs and cried their greetings. It was a wonderful moment.
The memory of the intensity of that greeting serves as a gentle rebuke to the priorities of my own heart. The apostle John, eagerly desiring Jesus return, wrote, He who testifies to these things says, Surely I am coming quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! (Rev. 22:20). In another passage, Paul even spoke of a crown awaiting those who have loved His appearing (2 Tim. 4:8). Yet sometimes I dont feel as eager for Christs return as my children were for mine.
Jesus is worthy of the very best of our love and devotionand nothing on earth should compare to the thought of seeing Him face-to-face. May our love for our Savior deepen as we anticipate our joyful reunion with Him.

I dialed a number and got the following recording:
‘I am not available right now, but Thank you for caring enough to call. I am making some changes in my life. Please leave a message after the Beep. If I do not return your call, You are one of the changes.’
