If they don't like the Longhorn Network, the Aggies can sign their own $300 million dollar deal and start the Aggie Network.
Chaos!
LOL - Isn’t University of Houston still crying to get in to that conference?
colorado and nebraska sure went down hill.
Simple. My cable bill will subsidize the UT athletic department even though I won’t be watching that channel.
The question concerning high school games is interesting. Could it be used as a recruiting tool? High school coaches are often very influential in steering recruits to one college or another. This is why college coaches work hard to develop good relationships with the coaches at top high school programs. Carrying a particular school’s games on the university network could furhter enhance that relationship.
300,000,000 for football? Is UT a state school? If they’re going to rake that much I’m sure lowering tuition can not be far behind. Hooker Horns!
Come on Aggies, we have a place for you in the SEC.
If they don’t like it, change the channel...
I think it’s inevitable that you will see happen in college football, what happened in English soccer, when the richest teams broke away from the FA and started the Premier League.
The richest football programs will break away from the NCAA and start their own association.
