The woman, known only as juror number 12 left her job and went into hiding fearing co-workers would 'want her head on a platter'.

Her husband said before leaving she told him: 'I’d rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again.'

He told NBC News he was worried for her health and had his bags packed ready to leave if his 60-year-old wife's name gets released.

The woman, who moved to Florida from Michigan fled the area, retiring from her job working at Publix Grocery over the phone because she didn't feel safe.

There was much less crime in the good old days of sane people with access to a rope and a tree.

That is the dumbest, most ignorant post I have read in a long time.

I love tourists and people who winter in Florida. Its because of them we don’t have a state income tax.

It is horrible, but there is so much evil in the world please someone enlighten me on what the fascination with just this case.

No one knew little Caylee was missing because Casey told lies whenever anyone asked where the baby was. She told people the baby was with a nanny that didn't exist.

After a month, Cindy, Casey's mother, called police. During that month the baby was missing, Casey was out drinking and dancing.

People were out searching for that baby. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent by various groups to find her.

The public was hoping for the best, but the worst happened...

The jury surmised more money to be had on an acquittal than a conviction.

Murder is the intentional and unjust killing of another human being.

It is most probable that Casey killed her child, but that doesn’t make it murder. She was an irresponsible party girl who didn’t want her child to affect her ability to party. So she likely drugged her child so that she could party at all hours without having to pay for a babysitter.

Drugging your child like that is neglectful, abusive, and if you overdose the child accidentally or if the duct tape used shifts, so it covers Caylee’s breathing passages would probably be manslaughter.

However, manslaughter is not murder. I think Casey deserved the possible maximum penalty for manslaughter, but that’s not what the prosecution charged her for.

The prosecution charged her with a planned and intentional killing of her daughter and that’s why the jury had to find Casey innocent, because the evidence didn’t support an intentional killing.

What about the Defense team "whooping it up" with champagne right after the verdict. Sooooo inappropriate and unprofessional :(

Yes, many tweets at #Caseyanthony by reporters in court remarked how the jurors whooped it up during the trial from inside the room just outside the courtroom. I thought that was odd especially on days graphic evidence was shown.

One of the jurors, a male unidentified, was offered 50k for an interview. He refused holding out for more. It’s also been reported another juror sought out a publicist once she found out she was picked for this jury and that it was the Anthony case.

Can you provide a link for these statements? I did a Google search and came up with nothing.

sigh.

They had that choice available to them. It wasn’t murder 1 or no murder at all. There were choices the jury had.

how many haven’t followed the case, watched the trial, yet...,,

sigh.

Can you believe that a CA jury actually got it right?

I guess this jury needed Casey to go sit on a rock in the woods near Caylee's little body a couple of times instead of reveling at her dissposal by partying and getting "the Good Life" tatoos...

There was a child neglect charge as well. Not reporting a missing child for 31 days should at least qualify for child neglect, even if you can’t get your mind around a murder charge. And yet, they found her guilty of lying to the police. So I have to ask: what did she lie about? Think about it.
