The woman, known only as juror number 12 left her job and went into hiding fearing co-workers would 'want her head on a platter'.

Her husband said before leaving she told him: 'I’d rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again.'

He told NBC News he was worried for her health and had his bags packed ready to leave if his 60-year-old wife's name gets released.

The woman, who moved to Florida from Michigan fled the area, retiring from her job working at Publix Grocery over the phone because she didn't feel safe.

Keeps Fast and Furious and Gunrunner out of the news.

That's a tradition when the BATF is involved.

The OJ trial wiped the Congressional hearings on Waco and Ruby Ridge off the front page, too.

"When jurors make money writing books and value their decisions on monetary reward, yes it is broken to some degree."

I think you're onto something there. I'd like to see a law that would prohibit jurors from accepting money for interviews or books resulting from a murder trial, regardless of the verdict. Somehow, it's unseemly that these people are taking money and vacations--really any rewards--other than their jury pay--for the verdict they reached.

It might not have happened here (then again, it might have), but what's to prevent a jury from deliberating on which verdict would bring in the most bucks, rather than innocence or guilt?

So what you’re saying is that if a body can be hidden well enough that by the time it’s found, cause and time of death cannot be determined, then you’d be unwilling to convict anyone of killing the deceased despite a plethora of other evidence (including behavior) that the accused committed the crime? Seriously?

So did I, from day 31. I can’t for the life of me understand what captivated me from so early on. Not media related, because I was stunned a girl was missing for 31 days and it was unreported. I remember discussing the Amber laws and how they didn’t apply to children missing for so long. I felt so bad for the grandparents at that time. When more information came out it became even more shocking, nannys that didn’t exist, jobs that didn’t exist, etc... So many didn’t even watch the trial but have opinions. I laugh at the ignorance. I laugh because they likely be the ones to help the profiteers profit off the little forgotten victim.

Yeah, that’s how the former state of New Hampshire turned into North Massachusetts.

Give it a rest? Are you really a Dr?

I have no idea how I would have voted unless I saw the evidence. The only thing I know is she was declared not guilty by a jury. Is she a scum bag? yes there is enough evidence to prove that. She’s an admitted liar and convicted thief.

There wasn’t enough evidence to prove she is a murderer. It doesn’t matter what all of you who “watched” think, it only matters what the jury thinks.

To vent your anger and frustration by threatening the jurors is mob behavior.

Gee whiz, that little Caylee was most certainly an adoreable gir. I mean who couldn’t help but fall in love with those big brown eyes. But this is a little overkill (pardon pun). It is horrible, but there is so much evil in the world please someone enlighten me on what the fascination with just this case.

Casey was Cayle's mother. She was the person with access to Cayle every day. There was no Nanny....no Babysitter and her parents hadn't seen or talked to Cayle in 30 days.

All the items found with that child came from Casey's place.

Not the slightest clue of someone else having access to Cayle.

So, who do you think did it??

Oh yea...and Casey forgot to report her as missing.

There is no proof anyone threatened this juror. The only person that has been harmed is little Caylee.

A majority of us who watched the trial do not think there was reasonable doubt.

In a not so perfect world, the media will decide which cases get to be televised, and the majority of those watching will decide the fate of the accused...

WAKE UP AMERICA! More and more people who want this kind of thing, vote in our elections.

Most people work very hard to avoid being on a jury. How many of those condemning these folks have lied to get out of jury duty themselves?

If a dead child is thrown in the woods and it decays into a skeleton is it still a murder?

I'd love to ask Scott Peterson if he followed the trial on DEATH ROW.
