The woman, known only as juror number 12 left her job and went into hiding fearing co-workers would 'want her head on a platter'.

Her husband said before leaving she told him: 'I’d rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again.'

He told NBC News he was worried for her health and had his bags packed ready to leave if his 60-year-old wife's name gets released.

The woman, who moved to Florida from Michigan fled the area, retiring from her job working at Publix Grocery over the phone because she didn't feel safe.

That’s the problem they didn’t follow instructions. Everyone that has yakked has went back to the opening statements which are not evidence - as instructed by the court. Reasonable doubt is not any doubt as referenced by another poster. One other important instruction clearly not followed was to not discuss the case among themselves prior to deliberations. Somebody led the group from day one, while they were wined and dined. I am sure they talked about how much more valuable a not guilty verdict would be perhaps, but hopefully they are wrong. You reap what you sow when you don’t take your responsibility seriously.

Again dissonance between the headline and the story.

She didn’t actually have a problem. She had fear that she MIGHT have a problem.

I agree.

Amazing how many Freeprs CONTINUE to think it is perfectly ok to trash this jury and say vile things about them...Yeah,
lets make sure that people going for jury duty know well ahead that if they come back with a verdict that the mob doesn’t like, their lives are in danger.

Interesting...it used to only be “The Mob” ( as in Mafia)that ajury had to be afraid of!

Congratulations America. Might as well throw out the Jury System with the rest of the Constitution.

Did she think she could render a verdict like this and not be criticized? More evidence of stupidity.

I have to agree with you.

Yes, many tweets at #Caseyanthony by reporters in court remarked how the jurors whooped it up during the trial from inside the room just outside the courtroom. I thought that was odd especially on days graphic evidence was shown.

No sympathy here.

I came to the same conclusion over the prosecutors presentation of the case.

I have no idea what is wrong with some people here but this lambasting is BS IMO.

The negative posters here should be ashamed for attacking a JUROR.

Flame away.

I even saw a legal analyst complain that the defense failed to prove Anthony’s innocence. Now I’m even hearing talk of testing jurors and certifying jurors.

aaaaahhhhhh, poor baby....

...she should have thought of this outcome before the "jury" decided that going home was more important than seeing that justice was done.

...I suspect that some of the jurors hair doo was getting pretty ragged, and their nails were beginning to split...and they were missing out on the latest "dancing with the stars"...

...therefore...there will be no official justice for Kaylee in this world.

The Mob is disgusting. I think so too. The Law dictated the verdict. Now the Mob is after the Jury.

Hard to believe...

I'm shocked by that.

I don’t care.

Next headline: "Juror in hiding, fears for life"

The interview price will go up substantially now. Oh the drama! And if the juror isn't just being dramatic, if you're gonna be dumb, you better be tough. Is she back Michigan bound? LOL!
