If a taser is punishment, so is a baton, a Glock or putting your knee on the guy's back while you get the handcuffs on. It's a tool to subdue a suspect, and it beats the heck out of a skull fracture from a baton.

My wife works 12 hour shifts as a nurse. She is often asleep at 1:30 in the afternoon and needs her sleep for patient safety.
Moreover, I don’t see any bloody reason I should be subjected to someone’s loud music just because it’s daylight. That’s an example of a guy’s right to swing his arms ending at the tip of my nose, and IIRC we’ve had laws against disturbing the peace since the days when everyone here was a subject of the crown.
This man also committed a felony assault on a police officer's Taser!

Something like that has been done before. I know a ham radio operator that installed a powerful, broadband transmitter in his car. At short ranges, the RF would bleed into into the offending stereo system’s amplifier. When a loud vehicle would pull up beside him, my friend would push a button for a few seconds. The victim would nearly break his arm reaching for the volume control!
Man! I need something like that.

Charges against Miller include aggravated menacing, resisting arrest, obstructing official business and disturbing the peace.
They should have charged him with assault on a police officer (for drooling on the officer's shoes after he got Tased) & littering (for falling on the floor)

I’m with you on this one 100%. These assholes with their lous speakers and aural assault vehicles (cars) don’t care how many people they annoy with their thump, thump, thump bass. Their motto is vex ergo sum, “I annoy, therefore I am.” It’s bad enough having to hear their garbage let alone feel the vibrations from their noise from over a block away. I’m sick of idiots imposing their ignorance on those who don’t want to hear it. If you disagree then allow me to beat on a garbage can lid with a baseball bat while trying to listen to TV, or take a nap, or just enjoy a few minutes of silence. I suspect most of these annoying sound systems are playing rap and hip hop, and not Ray Charles.
