“One of these days, I’m going to invent a device that sends out RF signals to speakers that forces them to put out static whenever their little cars decide to drive by my house with their stereos so loud that they rattle the windows to my house.”
Something like that has been done before. I know a ham radio operator that installed a powerful, broadband transmitter in his car. At short ranges, the RF would bleed into into the offending stereo system’s amplifier. When a loud vehicle would pull up beside him, my friend would push a button for a few seconds. The victim would nearly break his arm reaching for the volume control!
Man! I need something like that.
