Holy crap!

I'm 49 and I'm in a catch 22: The Unemployment office told me to my face that i'm not eligible for job training because I'm over 45. You expect me to compete with 16 year olds for a minimum wage job? No thanks. My husbans and I are scraping by on his sicial security, I'm planting a vegetable garden & praying that I don't get sick and the weather allows for a decent crop this year.

If anyone wants to get REAL mad, just read the comments section from this Yahoo article:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110602/ap_on_bi_ge/us_economy_missing_workers#mwpphu-container

You might have to play around with the link to start at the beginning; I’m only at the comment of 500 or so out of 1500. Lots of awful & angry stories at that link. People with two and three degrees being turned down for fast food jobs.

And these people are MAD at Obama.

Wonder if he’ll still go to Ohio today and brag about the auto industry. This report probably ticked him off. He’s going to be angry and ugly on the campaign trail today. Watch for it. He’ll be out there blaming everyone but himself.

Check overseas. The USA is dead until when and if we oust the Communists in the White House and GOP.

"just read the comments section from this Yahoo article:"

WOW. Those comments literally brought tears to my eyes. These people are hurting. People who worked hard and played by the rules all their lives are tossed under the bus. And Obama lines up another putt.

This high unemployment is going to be a serious drag on the economy, unemployed can't pay their mortgage, more homes go into foreclosure and more banks fail. Until employment is fixed the problem will worsen.

The further you go, the worse it gets. In some cases, entire families are looking for work, often with new college grads included.

I’ve made it my mission to read them all by the end of the weekend.

I feel like I owe them that much respect, at least.

:(

It’s energy prices. The world can’t support $100 a barrel oil. If only we had listened to Sarah’s “Drill Baby Drill” a few years ago.

Added 54,000 jobs, fewest in 8 months. What were they predicting?

Shouldn't there be another Zero on that figure? I mean Joe Biden promised about 500,000 new jobs per month. BTW, WHERE has Biden been lately? He seems to be MIA. I would love for reporters to ask him about the accuracy of his job growth prediction.

The MSM even appears to be running out of ways to try and spin this.

How long before the Clintons and senior Democrat leadership take Barry into a closed room and make him an offer he can’t refuse?

Look at Germany...record exports. Their economy is strong. Remember Obama called out Merkel to increase government spending and she refused and decided on a course of austerity.

So tell me, who has a better grasp of economics? A Chancellor of one of the world’s largest economies which is historically dependent on export industries, or a part-time lawyer/community organizer/college lecturer used to only giving away other people’s money to his favorite political constituencies?

Saw a bumper sticker yesterday.

“Sorry Yet?”

The “O” was the 0 rainbow/circle thingy.
