What Is A Friend?
A friend is someone always there
in the back of your mind,
providing feelings of comfort and security.
A friend is someone
who adds happy sparkle to your life,
joy, fun, a predictable creator of happiness.
A friend is a stormproof shelter
from lifes challenges, troubles, uncertainties,
an unassailable bond overcoming any challenge,
strengthening the connection in the process.
You are all this and more, my friend.
Thank you.

What a sweet, sweet compliment, teenie, and I appreciate it!! That was an experiment for me where you can take the graphic and make a frame with it also. Others do it very well and I was playing with it and it worked. Lucky me! It had a couple of glitches in it but not so noticeable for me not to post it...LOL!! And you can use it anytime you want to. It would flatter me!
Thanks again!!

Sonrise! June 2, 2011
My states name, Idaho, according to one legend, comes from a Shoshone Indian word, ee-dah-how. When translated into English, it means something like, Behold! The sun rising over the mountain. I often think of that when the sun breaks over the eastern peaks and spills light and life into our valley.
Also, I think of Malachis promise: The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings (Mal. 4:2). This is Gods irrevocable promise that our Lord Jesus will come again and all creation will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God (Rom. 8:21).
Each new sunrise is a reminder of that eternal morning when bright heavens Sun will arise with healing in His wings. Then everything that has been made will be made over and made irrevocably right. There will be no throbbing backs or knees, no financial struggles, no losses, no aging. One Bible version says that when Jesus returns we will go out and leap like calves released from the stall (Mal. 4:2 NIV). This is my highest imagination and my hope.
Jesus said, Surely I am coming quickly (Rev. 22:20). Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
High King of heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heavens joys, O bright heavens Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all. Irish hymn
You have reason for optimism if youre looking for Christs return.
Read: Malachi 4:1-6
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings.
Malachi 4:2

Hey, Mayor .... It probably was last week that you were plowing snow. :)
The weather has been weird this year. They are reporting that we may get some rain this weekend. What ... rain in June??!!! It is only 50 degrees here. Should have worn a sweater when we took Marissa to the bus stop.
Wishing you a good day.

Past couple days it was in the 80’s, today it’s not even 60 yet. Crazy weather all over the place. My daughter is only 40 miles from where the tornado hit in Massachusetts yesterday. My oldest son was out doing electric storm repair for National Grid because of the weather.

So glad to hear that the tornado missed your daughter’s area.
It is breezy here today .... with the low temperature, it feels like early spring. I know I will be wishing for weather like this when the temps hit 108+ during July and August.

Spanish name for computer
A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.
‘House’ for instance, is feminine: ‘la casa.’
‘Pencil,’ however, is masculine: ‘el lapiz.’
A student asked, ‘What gender is ‘computer’?’
Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two
groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether computer’ should be a masculine or a feminine noun. Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.
The men’s group decided that ‘computer’ should definitely be of the feminine gender (’la computadora’), because:
1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;
2 The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;
3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval; and
4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself
spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.
(THIS GETS BETTER!)
The women’s group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine (’el computador’), because:
1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;
2. They have a lot of data but still can’t think for themselves;
3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and
4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model.
The women won.

Thank you, Gail.
I think that rose is one of Lori's.
It is very pretty and her graphic is lovely.
Hope you are having a delightful Thursday.
Daisy has an appt for her rabies shot so I will be gone for awhile.
