CHICAGO, - Potential Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney finished a day of fundraising in Chicago by sending leftover pizza to President Obama's campaigners.
Romney said he enjoyed the deep-dish pizza at Gino's East and sent some to Obama's Chicago re-election headquarters, ABC News reported Friday.
"Great deep dish at @ginoseast. Sending the extra slices to @barackobama and his Chicago HQ team," Romney wrote on his Twitter feed.
The message was accompanied by a picture of a delivery boy heading out of the restaurant.
A source with Obama's campaign confirmed the pizza was received.
How cute.
Personally I wouldnt give Barry a used stick of gum
I like it.
A smooth move. A backhanded slap. But, what’s a room full of hungry Obamabots gonna do? Turn down some free Gino’s East? No way.
Would have been cuter if it had come from Godfathers. Actually this seems like complete nonsense to me. Am I missing the point?
The last people on earth I would do anything nice for, even as a joke, would be anybody associated with Obama! Those arrogant, elitist, liberal a-holes probably ate the pizza, laughed at what a dope Romney is, then strategized how to crush him like a bug. We need a candidate who is not afraid to be perceived as nice and who doesn’t care what anyone thinks of them, especially the MFSRM! Romney obviously is not this candidate. Get him outa here!
Wonder if the Obama crew tipped him?
“We need a candidate who is not afraid to be perceived as nice”
Correction: We need a candidate who is not afraid to be perceived as tough!”
“Please don’t feed the animals”
HOW ROMNEY IS THAT?
Can I tell them that I was brainwashed?
I don’t get it either. Is there a back story here? Was he thinking “Hey, let’s prank Obama’s staff sending them free pizza”? I don’t get it?
Maybe this was some kind of stupid reference to Merman Cain?
That’s Herman Cain.
I need more coffee!
