I reformatted last weekend, now I'm getting this popup at random sites I try to open. Sometimes I can cycle things 2 or 3 times and access the page, sometimes I can't gain access.
I know vista is a problem but I'm stuck with it for now.

You ain’t alone.
My Firefox went all hanky on me and wants to open 188 windows all at once and I can’t figure out how to make it stop.

I tried firefox once, it was terrible for image files.
To: cripplecreek
sounds like you have a browser hijack problem that needs to be eradicated.

You have a TROJAN on your computer.
Download and install Malware Bytes.
Boot into SAFE MODE and run the program.

When was that?
I’ve been using Firefox since version 2.3 and I don’t have any problem with images.
I currently use Ver 4.0.1
I have XP.

It was several years ago, I may try it again.

Dump IE.
Firefox is getting to be a hog.
Google Chrome and Opera are both very slick and quick.

They have a free version but it will block you from most sites...so you either uninstall it or you have to buy their upgrade. I’d be very careful with that program. I had lots of problems with it...

Running a deep norton scan right now. I’ll get it straightened out.
First time I’ve had any issues with Firefox.

“Google Chrome and Opera are both very slick and quick.”
Chrome (on my machine) is fast as hell and has some glitches, (you have to reload once in a while) but worth it to go that fast through pages. Do NOT get the beta version.

I don’t have any problem at all with their free version.
I’ve been running it for over a year. No blocks of any kind and automatic updates on the definitions.
Make sure it’s MALWARE BYTES and not ANTI-MALWARE..
Totally different thing.
