She sure won’t pick up the James voters.
Hi, Ohioan from Florida. Welcome to our little group of Haley fans. You have to wade through a lot of anti-Haley stuff , though. Welcome!!

James was the biggest obstacle to the other three making it to the top. Now he is gone. We'll see if the three can generate the excitement that James did.
I think it is sad he was eliminated. Each week will be a sad elimination, because I don't hate any of them. I admire each one for who they are, and James brought so much JOY to the stage, to the program.
I like Wednesday nights. It's Thursday night I've come to hate, for the awful entertainment.

John Boy helped me with my suitcases at the airport. Some stars are just nice people when no one is looking.

People got confirmations of voting for Haley when they wanted James??
I voted a ton for James but it was all text voting. I voted more for him than anyone, some for Scotty and least but still several votes for Lauren. Nothing for Haley.
Simple.

The little tweenie texters who vote are seeing their dads and brothers drool over Haley and they want to be like her.

I agree with your assessment of the final 2 weeks. And James’s sincerity. I love the guy. And I am no metal fan either.
I don’t either. I like Haley just as much as I did at the start, in fact even more. She has blossomed as an artist. This past Wednesday was not her finest, but didn’t merit the harsh blows coming from Randy. Even so, she approached him afterward for a make-up hug. I think her songs were over-produced. The comments about her body or perceived attitude are irrelevant. It’s interesting how anything positive about her gets completely overlooked by some.
In actuality, I think she has less ego than the others and simply wants a career in music.
One of the benefits of watching AI on tape is that it’s possible to fast-forward through the awful entertainment. I did watch Jordan Sparks and found myself totally disappointed with the direction she’s taking her very special vocal talent.
I was sad James got less votes than Haley, but not surprised. His “connection” with the audience was not comfortable to me; his forced big star personna was a big negative.
Scotty has always been #1 to me; Lauren has always been a very close second.
At this point, however, there are no losers, and that includes James. They each have the world by the tail. It will be interesting to see what they do with it.
Yes, that’s battletank’s claim, but we’ve yet to see any proof. They claim there are tons of links of people complaining that they dialed for James but got a thanks for voting for Haley instead. Yet they can’t seem to be bothered to post just one link directly to anything supporting the outrageous claim.

I totally agree!! As for the Thurs. entertainment, I turned off during Enrique Iglesias; he and his songs were AWFUL. What a pig. I didn't even pick up on the Idol results until this morning.
Don’t know if you saw my post last week..If Haley doesn’t win, I want her to team up with Haley Scarnato for a duo act.... we just need to think up a suitable name..

Off the top, Scarnato seems to have a Broadway flair.
