I don’t either. I like Haley just as much as I did at the start, in fact even more. She has blossomed as an artist. This past Wednesday was not her finest, but didn’t merit the harsh blows coming from Randy. Even so, she approached him afterward for a make-up hug. I think her songs were over-produced. The comments about her body or perceived attitude are irrelevant. It’s interesting how anything positive about her gets completely overlooked by some.

In actuality, I think she has less ego than the others and simply wants a career in music.

Do you remember when Jennifer Hudson was eliminated? She made Haley look like a saint when she was criticized. When the contest gets down this far the judges shouldn’t have been so critical like they were over the Gaga song. They should just let the voters decide instead of the producers scripting the judges who they want to go. But Nigel Lythgoe will have none of that.

I like everyone who was left and Pia should have been there too but some were getting old like Scotty One Note. He can sing those old Country and Western ballads great but they put me to sleep and James’ high notes in EVERY song were always cringing. What is unique about Haley’s voice is her growl, reminiscent of Big Momma Thorton but in a nicer package, and nobody else has that. If you ask me the top three should be Lauren, Haley and Pia, they are the most marketable.
