A Forever Service
April 10, 2011 Two young brothers sat on the front row in church every Sunday, observing their dad as he led the worship service. One night after sending the boys to bed, the dad overheard one of his boys crying. He asked him what was wrong, but the boy was hesitant to answer. Finally, he confessed, Daddy, the Bible says were going to worship God in heaven forever. Thats an awfully long time! Because he pictured heaven as one long worship time with his dad up front leading, heaven sounded pretty boring to him!
While I sometimes wish we had more information about what heaven will be like, we know this for sure: boring cant possibly be the right word to describe it. We will see beauty like weve never seen before, including a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal (Rev. 22:1). We will experience the glory of God, which will illuminate heaven (21:23; 22:5). And we will enjoy a life without pain or sorrow (21:4).
Yes, we will definitely worship in heaven. People out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation (5:9) will rejoice in praising Jesus, the worthy Lamb who died for us and rose again (5:12).
We will bask in the glory of the Lords presenceforever. But not for one second will we be bored!
In heaven well see our Savior
And like Him we will be;
Well praise Him and well serve Him
For all eternity! Fitzhugh
The pleasures of earth cannot be compared to the joys of heaven.
Read: Revelation 22:1-7

The Legend of the Bluebonnet
The Texas fields are covered
With a blanket of deep blue.
But for a little Indian girl,
This would not be true.
Texas land was buried and dry.
Rains just would not come.
Indians danced and prayed for rain,
And beat upon their drums.
The Chief made a proclamation.
He appealed to one and all.
A prized possession must be sacrificed
Before the rains would fall.
The Indian camp was silent,
While each person searched his heart.
But when it came to sacrifice,
With possessions they would not part.
Suddenly a little girl stepped forth,
Holding her blue-clad doll.
She placed it in the roaring fire
and raindrops began to fall.
The rain brought forth the grass,
Among its blades, flowers of blue.
To be a sign for all the time
Of a love so pure and true.

Of course I would think that this graphic is about the best!! :) Thank you so much! I was at the vets the other day to pick up medicine and dog food for d’Ogee! A lady waiting to be seen with her little Yorkie were directly behind me. I asked her how old is your Yorkie? She said 9 weeks. Naturally I said I have a Yorkie too! She asked how old and I said going on 15yrs. I was surprised how much that affected me, as I was remembering d’Ogee at 9 wks. Where did all the time go, I got to thinking! P.S. Notice the one in the middle with a “smile” on her cute face! :)

Meg, My blues don’t match to suit me but I didn’t have the energy to change it all...LOL! I am so late getting to my check writing so I am starting on that next. Nothing is due but I love to get it done early and get it off my mind, which I haven’t done this month! I have all my insurance’s, some utilities automatically taken out but I have to enter into the checkbook and the ledger I keep. Just a lot of little stuff to do always and finish the check writing!
Check in later!

Such a beautiful graphic and poem, Yorkie! Wishing you a Blessed Sunday! I’m worried about Texas right now, as they are having wildfires in some areas and it’s very dry! Pray it can be brought under control!!
