A Family In Trouble
April 23, 2011
Many of Americas 30 million white-tailed deer find themselves endangered not by guns, but by the cars of our expanding suburbs. I was reminded of their plight when a mature doe dashed through traffic just ahead of me. As I watched, I wondered what had driven her to take such a chance, and why she then stopped on the other side and looked back over her shoulder. As I drove by her, I turned to follow her gaze and saw two small fawns looking helplessly at their mother across the busy street. Instead of following, they turned and walked back into the woods.
This family is not alone. We too can find ourselves in circumstances of separation and danger we did not anticipate. Reading Malachi and Matthew reminds us that we are troubled children of troubled parents who desperately need the help of our Father in heaven. Sometimes we need His help to see and avoid repeating the sins of our fathers (Neh. 9:2-3). Sometimes we need His help to turn back to the example and care of loving parents (Luke 15:18).
Only from our heavenly Father can we find the perfect forgiveness, example, and inner grace we need. He knows we are all fallen children of fallen parents, and even now He offers us the help of His Spirit and the rescue of His Son.
Each day we learn from yesterday
Of Gods great love and care;
And every burden we must face
Hell surely help us bear. D. De Haan
Its never too soon to turn back to God.
Read: Malachi 4:4-6; Matthew 1:1-2
He will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.
Luke 1:16

The Dogwood Tree
When Christ was on earth, the dogwood grew
To a towering size with a lovely hue.
Its branches were strong and interwoven
And for Christ's cross its timbers were chosen.
Being distressed at the use of the wood
Christ made a promise which still holds good:
"Not ever again shall the dogwood grow
To be large enough for a tree, and so
Slender and twisted it shall always be
With cross-shaped blossoms for all to see.
The petals shall have bloodstains marked brown
And in the blossom's center a thorny crown.
All who see it will think of me,
Nailed to a cross from a dogwood tree.
Protected and cherished this tree shall be
A reflection to all of my agony."

For All The Caturday Cat~People Of Amy's Place
Random Caturday Thoughts
None of my sisters or brothers can begin to comprehend or think
Why our Pretty One put us all on this shiny slippery Skating Rink?
We started all clotted together just a moment ago
In the middle of the Rink. Then Nikki's paws started to slip and go!
As her paws started to slip, she shifted her weight and began to slide
Experiencing a very slow, but wide eyed ride
Following her deep reflection that shimmered and refused to hide
That sent Millicent and Gretchen off on a similar carom
Even their tiny claws couldn't stop the flight of this surprised Harem
As the girls inched closer to the edge it really started to scare 'em!
Until Gretchen noticed Jason and I sitting very quietly and still
And the girls slowed down by tucking up like blue-eyed furry pills
With lessons learned we are all having much more fun with much less fear
Now the only question remains is, how do we get down from here?

Hi, Allegra!
Haven’t seen your name in a long time.
Hope you and Finnbar are doing well. The kittens’ Cuteness Factor does nearly soar off the chart.
Stay well.

Yes Father we are children in trouble, children's children since Noah's day. We listen to the voices of the world, and yield to the cries for political correctness, even when it is evil. Abortions, approving homosexuality, living together without marriage, etc., We are brainwashed in schools, from the news sources of every kind, and even our churches are becoming progressive liberals. Editing thy word and not teaching about thy commands, hell, sins, responsibility, judgment, Accepting all kinds of of watered down teaching. New Bible translations are moving far away from thy Word and giving us pallid messages lacking strength and truth. Help us Father, what are the children to do? They do not know what is happening to them. Bless them Father, and us, we do not know what it is we do not know. The Holy Spirit leads us, we trust In thee, in Jesus name amen.

"Dextrocardia Question"
I went to a medical clinic for an electrocardiogram. While the technician was lining up her machine, I told her I have dextrocardia.
"What's that?" she asked.
"It means my heart is on the right side of my chest rather than on the left," I answered. "You should set up your machine to accommodate that."
As she attached the wires, she asked casually,
"Tell me, have you had that for long?"
