Do you think the coalition should go further than a no-fly zone against Libya?

Maybe, I'm willing to do anything but boots on the ground

Yes, we should take all measures necessary to oust Qaddafi

Don't know. Qaddafi is a renegade puppet. Let's put him back in place and use him to our advantage

No, Libya is not a strategic interest and we shouldn't be there at all, it's a civil war

Yes, 23.2%- Obama is Black, we voted for him, he’s just changing things and getting us sum more free money.

No, 56.22%- This is a “wag the dog” event, Obama is not a leader and is completely overwhelmed by the events of the day.... we owe better to our brave military folks.

Maybe, 17.49%- It’s okay as long as we don’t hurt anybody.

Don’t know. 3.09%- We are too stupid to tie our own shoes and we wet our beds until we were 12 tears old. What was the question?

The very nature of the question shows that the media and the political classes haven't learned anything in the last decade.

To most politicans in the third world, and this includes Muslim countries, they win if they remain standing (aka remains in power when combat operations end). That was the real lesson learned 1991 - 2004 with Iraq. It is criminally stupid to think that part of the world has changed since then.

When dealing with dictators, the most common form of leader, you must put boots on the ground to remove him. Look at Grenada, Panama, and Haiti for proof of this statement.

If you are unwilling to put boots on the ground then you are NOT going to change a form of government. At best you can cause a dictator to draw in his horns for a short period of time. But change how he got into power and maintains power? It ain't going to happen Pilgrim.

I see you are too little read to remember when we used to simply help assassinate dictators, or to realize that assassination has been a more humane way to deal with nations lead by rogue leaders throughout history.

One agent reporting a dictator's location for a drone crew would suffice.

Semper Fidelis.

Did we used to assassinate rogue leaders so that another one of our enemies (that we are currently fighting) could take his spot? That doesn't seem all that bright to me...but maybe I'm just too "little" to understand. Isn't aiding and comforting our enemies still treason?

I can understand why this administration would support Al-Qeada but I don't know why any conservative would.

No. Help arm the rebels so they and the regime can kill each other off more effectively.
