What lens did you use?

This page opens on a Canon but he handles all makes.
The mirrow damper is the tricky part, my fingers don't work like they used to.
I have an old dedicated film scanner that only connects to an old computer that runs Win 98. It still works but even with photoshop, I had a very hard time getting the color balance right with color print film. When I finally had something that worked with one roll of film, it would be off on the next roll. I would generally spent hours scanning and adjusting a single roll of film.
I finally gave up and went to the dark side.
I just got back from the local camera shop where a customer told me my Pentax K2 and lenses are in demand on eBay? I bought a Fuji KZ300 point and shoot to replace the Canon A 540 that I carry in my pickup for those spontaneous events that pop up because it has a equivalent 28 to 280 lens while the A 540 was about 35 to 140. It doesn’t seem to as intuitive to this novice as the Canon and I’m getting buyers remorse...
It’s an Epson 3590, feeds negatives automatically.
Always like your images, and the cats are no exception. The frontmost cat reminds me of the one I had for a few years - “Gray”. He seriously thought that he was a dog, and would fetch things for me on occasion.
I’m permanently in the digital world now. I have several film bodies, but I am so tuned in to digital now that I don’t think I’ll ever shoot film again. Maybe... :-)
There are places online who will make prints from your negatives if you don't have the scanner and software.
There is a bit of a retro movement out there. I'm not sure what I might fetch for my older Canon bodies, but since they're family heirlooms, I won't be selling them. I have a Canon FT-QL that my dad sold me back in the late 1970s. I also have a Canon A1, which I inherited when dad passed away. I have his old Argus rangefinder also, as well as his Yashika T-4.
On the more modern side, I have a Canon Elan II, which is compatible with all the newer Canon EF lenses. It sits in the drawer next to the digital bodies.
Ebay. I bought a light seal replacement kit for a my old Mamiya 1000DTL.
Thanks.
It has a wonderful 50mm lens.
I've been buying all the old Minolta glass in the thrift shops around here, some is junk but i've found some really good lenses.
I picked up a Minolta MD 28-70 yesterday, it looks like new.
I've even pulled a few down and tackled fungus infestations.
I'm retired, can't do much physically and I hate just sitting, I make sure I always have something to mess with!
The Epson program is pretty good.
Is there a decent digital SLR body that isnt an arm and a leg that will accept Minolta lenses?
Sony sure is proud of theirs.
That cat also looks a lot like Allie, a gray tabby who hung out in the lobby at my mother's nursing home--and who loved to sleep on seats and sofas. Allie, who is about 14 years old, is friendly but docile and is a perfect cat for that sort of facility. Sadly, the management felt she had to go because she liked to scratch, and she preferred to the furniture to her scratching post, so a staffer adopted her.
I love my digital SLR but I've got a lot of time to burn and welcome anything to keep my head working.
I've got retired friends who just sit around like stumps, I don't want any part of that!
I visit or call and all I hear is about aches and pains and doctors, Hell, they aren't any older or more worn down than I am.
Look on the KEH site and buy a used body. You can trust their rating system and warranty. I seldom buy new stuff and don’t have any more problems than anyone I know.
I’ll look-up the vendor and send a link to you.
When the weather is better I get out in the garden but my big hobby is collecting Real Photo Post Cards (RPPC) of my local area from eBay. My wife says it is not a hobby but is a mental disorder but I say it keeps my brain active. I store them in Pioneer BSP-46 photo albums 6 on a page.
I've got a Leica M6 TTL... love it (although it is like carrying a brick). I was/am/always will be a fan of film.
My German made machine is similar to this one:
The XG-M is good to go.
