Yes, it was.
FOX did this the first time right after 9/11. It was incredibly moving then and it is now one of my favorite Super Bowl traditions.
I hope it is shown around the world as people everywhere watch the SB.
Now if only Christina A. hadn’t been (1) selected to butcher the Star-Spangled Banner and (2) actually butchered it.

Yeah, the second verse started out a replay of the first verse, but somewhere she must have realized that she wasn’t singing it right and, honestly, I don’t know what happened after that. Word salad.
