And of course, they’re right that your time is over, but they don’t comprehend that the way you loved America, the courage you showed in defending her and the principles that guided you are transcendent and timeless.

I had an opportunity to see him speak in person when I was a teenager. It wasn't a momental engagement, just a campaign stop, but it meant a lot and means even more now as I look at the state of our nation.
