I named my daughter after you, sir. You will always be one of my biggest heroes in life and I thank God every day that I lived and grew up during your presidency. Happy Birthday Big Guy! Thanks for the legacy!
Agree Hes my absolute favorite President.
We don’t have a trillion-dollar debt because we haven’t taxed enough; we have a trillion-dollar debt because we spend too much.
Address to National Association of Realtors, March 28, 1982
Government growing beyond our consent had become a lumbering giant, slamming shut the gates of opportunity, threatening to crush the very roots of our freedom. What brought America back? The American people brought us back — with quiet courage and common sense; with undying faith that in this nation under God the future will be ours, for the future belongs to the free.
State of the Union Address, February 4, 1986
Not corny at all and I’m sure a large number here on FR would do the same thing.
Happy Birthday, Mr President. The first vote I ever cast was for you in the 1980 election. I was 19 years old, and already had my head screwed on straight!!!
Thank you for everything.
I love you.
Mr. President, They tell us your time is over, they ridicule us when we quote you or use you as a reference. And of course, they’re right that your time is over, but they don’t comprehend that the way you loved America, the courage you showed in defending her and the principles that guided you are transcendent and timeless.
You are an ongoing blessing for your cherished nation.
I was able to vote FOR you twice, before and after that my votes have always been AGAINST some other candidate.
We miss you.
Happy Birthday Mr. President.
Happy 100th Birthday “Great Communicator!”

We've got a couple of snapshots of wifey and Nancy from a book signing at the Reagan Library some years ago. It's a great place to visit; we finally made the trek back into L.A. a few months ago to see the Air Force One exhibit, and of course RR's burial site.
Great man, great Presidency. Proof that personal character counts for much.
Best to Nancy on President Reagan's 100th.
Good memories and thoughts. I, too, cried when President Regan died.
I’m sure your grandfather is in President Reagan’s current company and they are sharing some laughs together.
Happy birthday Mr. President. See you on the other side.
Re #24 - what is Charles Logan doing in this picture?
(was amazing to see how much Gregory Itzin favored Richard Nixon in that show...wonder if it was intentional...)
Happy 100th birthday, Mr. President. Thank you for your service and your leadership. You’ve been an inspiration to me ever since I was 10 years old. God Bless you.
