...who police say was kidnapped and hung from a fence post. What mental midget phrased this sentence? When one is HUNG, the general belief is that they are being executed with a rope around their neck. While this was wrong, and the kids should be punished, this child was not 'hung', he was suspened from a post by his jacket - no injuries were reported. This is a far cry from attempted murder.

Not to be too petty, but someone who is executed with a rope around their neck is not “hung.” They are “hanged.” Something I learned while studying journalism ...

No, when one is HUNG the general belief is that we are related.
I do believe that you meant to correct the mental midget by saying 'hanged'.
