I think an MRI is scheduled. They checked for mini-stroke with a Catscan.
He is spending the night here. He says it is too noisy at his daughter’s. She has roosters and lots of animals and ... two little girls ... one in kindergarten and the other in 2nd grade.
[it will go up to 22 tonight.]
Lol, they all want their minute of fame, huh? I want to see them, you have quite a collection. A warming trend UP to 22* ? Yikes, I wouldn’t like that.
How did you know that lonestar looks like a Teddy Bear?
It's cold.
Weinie
Ahhh .... thank you.
I’ve been reading about the rolling blackouts on Drudge and understand we are getting some power from Mexico!! Sorry it happened to Billie. My old house is drafty even with the central heat running and running.
Thank you, Meg. It is hard to accept that this is happening to my younger brother.
I’m saying prayers for your brother. Also saying a prayer that a cure and/or effective treatment will be found soon.
I filled the birdfeeder to the top tonight before it started..I stay inside...coming down pretty hard at the moment..We are on the edge of the snow system..but it is snough to excite me!
Jaycee, I love snow a day or two...then the romance is over..LOL
So sorry for the passing of your Uncle, M.L.! *HUGS* tiapam!
These are precious, Billie.
Thank you for adding such cute bears for Teddy Bear Day at Amy’s.
Bless his heart. I think the animals and children with all the noises he is not used to probably would bother him. I think they are apprehensive in the beginning as they don’t know what’s happening...and they get very frustrated, I guess.
So sad....my best wishes for all of you, Amy.
I’m like you Meg, a day or two is enough, lol. I’m heading off, enjoyed seeing everyone.
AMEN.
You were given a true “GIFT”, when you and your hubby married. And, yes - of course, dear. What a GRAND REUNION we will all have, one day!
I know it is so hard for you...My brother was younger than I am now when it struck him ...The meds they gave did seem to slow the progression of the sumptoms..but of course there is no cure..Prayers for better treatments and someday soon, a cure.
Amen, yorkie. And I married so young and they said it wouldn’t last....LOL! Our generation didn’t think of divorce at every whim! We toughed it out and marched on through.
Yes, what a reunion there will be someday! Don’t get me wrong, I love it here but we have the reassurance of someday but we enjoy our time on this beautiful earth God gave us.
Amy and Meg, I am so sorry about your brothers having Alzheimers. It is such a long, slow retreat of the mind, and so hard to watch, for those who love them.
Once the doctor confirmed my suspicion that my hubby had it, it was easier on me - knowing that he wasn’t deliberately complaining about my cooking every day, or not wanting to bathe. He just couldn’t help it - and knowing that, made it easier for me to accept the changes, and work gently with them.
Thank you, Yorkie for your kindness! (((HUGS)))
Thank you, dear Tiapam!
Thank you, yorkie..You have lived the nightmare, I know.
He doesn’t know who I am.(((HUGS)))
