Thank you, jaycee. My mother had suffered senile dementia..but she was in her nineties..I cared for her on weekends..It broke my heart..It is so hard to parent a parent who is in such a condition.
I know you suffered watching your dear mother, too.
So many of us have experienced the devastating results.

Billie, I'm almost a week behind and started looking at pings and then I saw yours! I am so impressed with the beautiful, wonderful and thoughtful job you did creating all the Teddy Bears for everyone. I love them, love mine with the tiny dog and already saved it. It was just a lovely thing that you did and I can't thank you enough for including me!!

Sending some love to all of you - for being so nice and putting up with me dropping in so seldom. I appreciate all of you. No replies needed and I'll try to get to some of ya'lls other posts.

Yes, and I’m sure you know by now how much we appreciate what you did. They’re wonderful. I saw the ones you did for the ‘guys’ too and they’re great!
I have 4 stuffed Yorkies and a Calico Cat that sit on a chair in my bedroom. My son had a Calico and, well you understand about the Yorkies, lol

They first diagnosed my Mom with dementia and I took her to lots of doctors because I knew it was more. I even took her to the big Duke Hospital and of course, the terrible diagnosis was Altzeimer’s. (those dreaded words). It was a very long, drawn out part of our lives. At one time in this long event, my hubby looked at me one day and saw that I was about to lose it. He said “Jane, I want you to get one or two of your friends and go to Myrtle Beach for a few days.” He told me “that I had to get away from it and he would take care of everything for me and it would be alright.”
And I called my best friend Nancy and we planned the trip and her sister went with us. We did have a wonderful time and it was so good for me to get away from it for a few days. (I had a wonderful husband, thats for sure and I miss him daily.) Someday, we will all be together again, won’t we?
