What a HOOT!
I figured the party was over so I’m turning in...LOL! I got on late and guess everyone was finished posting. I was sure glad to hear how well your water therapy is working. It may be good for me, just seems its hard to work in...life is so busy, isn’t it?
See ya tomorrow, tiapam! Have a wonderful evening. Its almost midnight here....yawnnnnn!
Thank you and I’m glad you enjoyed it. :)
I would hope not!
Looks like I’m the last one of the evening/morning to post here at Amy’s Place for the evening.
May our Lord Bless and Keep each and everyone who visits this thread.
I’ll be signing off in a moment, it may be late throughout FR, but, I pray for GOD’s blessings on each and everyone as I retire.
See y’all in the early mornning hours...
My Dad was the Ship’s Photographer when he served in WW2. I grew up looking at hundreds of pictures of the War in the Pacific. So standing on that deck was was the culmination of a lifetime of images, stories, study, and vicarious experience for me.
Please pray for my Dad, as now he suffers from altzheimers.
Still, he can recall every moment and detail of his experience in WW2.
In Singapore, the Chinese New Year seasons social and business dinners often begin with a dish consisting of salads, dressings, pickles, and raw fish. The name of the dish, Yu Sheng, is a pun that sounds like year of prosperity. It is traditional for those present to toss the salad together. As they do, certain phrases are repeated to bring about good fortune.
Our words may express our hopes for others for the year ahead, but they cant bring about good fortune. The important issue iswhat does God want to see in us in the coming year?
In his letter to the Philippians, Paul expressed his desire and prayer that their love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment (1:9). The church had been a great tower of support for him (v.7), yet he urged them to continue to grow to love others. Paul wasnt talking about intellectual knowledge but knowledge of God. Love for others starts with a closer relationship with Him. With a fuller knowledge of God, we can then discern between right and wrong.
Giving our best wishes to others for the coming year is fine. But our heartfelt prayer should be that we abound in love, so that we may be filled with the fruits of righteousness . . . , to the glory and praise of God (v.11).
I do a lot of my lower back/feet exercises in the hot tub. And it makes them easier.
IF the doc and PT guys actually worked on the whole spine not just one area at a time it would be better for me. But they don’t. Mine is spread from C4-7, 2 T’s and L4-5 and now going into the SA joint. So when they work on one area, they inflame the other areas. Nor do they take into account the Fibromyalgia.
I am one of those who cannot tolerate a lot of medications because of their extreme side effects. Never heard of Gabapentin. Mostly I use 8 hr Tylenol and a 5 mg of Valium to lower the pain level when it gets bad, when it gets real bad I reach for the Loretabs and the anti-puke med, can’t take one with out the other.
We thank you for the blessings you offered for each of us!!
I didn’t know your Dad had Altzeimer’s, Mary Lou. My mom had it but it was different from any I’ve seen. She seemed to always remember me and my family but the other things she did were pitiful. No one ever deserves this horrible disease and it is beyond my understanding. Maybe in the sweet bye and bye, we will understand. Remembering your father in prayers!
Will pray that you find some relief,as I have! :)

This morning, I woke up at the crack of dawn,
To check the feeder.
Sure'nuff, it was frozen solid!
So, I bundled up with boots, gloves,
scarf, hat and heavy winter coat,
To replace the iced one
With a warm one, from inside.
As I was putting it up,
The hummer was frantically buzzing by my face.
I brought the frozen one inside,
And sat it in front of a heater
to melt the block of ice, inside.
Trying to quench thirst
On Thirsty Thursday
Wonderful graphic and great poem! Thank you!!
What a sweet , sweet, graphic, Teenie! AND so “warm” beach area! Looks wonderful!!
