(Jan. 22, 2011) — Yesterday an article was published in the Honolulu Star Advertiser entitled “Abercrombie Drops Quest for Obama’s Birth Certificate” written by an unnamed Associated Press writer. Here are my comments:
In an incredibly lame and cowardly anticlimactic announcement, hiding behind his spokeswoman Donalyn Dela Cruz, Abercrombie’s spokeswoman, in plain political defense, in the Hawaiian Sun Advertiser, said this:
There is nothing more that Gov. Abercrombie can do within the law to produce a document. Unfortunately, there are conspirators who will continue to question the citizenship of our president.
The Star Advertiser continues:
Abercrombie, who was a friend of Obama’s parents and knew him as a child, launched an effort last month to find a way to dispel conspiracy theories that the president was born elsewhere. The governor said at the time he was bothered by people who questioned Obama’s birthplace for political reasons.
But Abercrombie’s investigation reached a dead end when Louie told him the law restricted his options.
Here are several important points that need to be noted that only make the situation all the more suspicious to any reasonable person, Dela Cruz’s Hillary Clinton-esque “right-wing conspiracy defense” notwithstanding:
1 - Bad political news is always dropped late Friday at the end of the news cycle in the hope that it will disappear from general view. The timing almost conclusively suggests that they do not see this as a win for themselves.
2 - Rush Limbaugh has officially, albeit belatedly, entered the debate full-throttle with the opening of his show this same day, highlighting the absurdity of the Abercrombie quest investigation. This must have been pretty alarming to the Obama camp, as Limbaugh’s embracing of the issue is likely to make it safe for many others outside of Limbaugh’s 20,000,000-person listenership to do the same.

There is something very odd about the birth certificate.
My bet is Obama comes up with one two days before the election so that it's provenance cannot be verified until afterward.

If I can curb my laughter enough to type, I’ll add this. The BC issue is political dynamite. It’s only the MSM that is keeping this powder keg from blowing sky high. Our job is not to shrug and say, ‘well okay, then; the MSM wins this one; let’s turn our sights elsewhere’ - it is to get around the MSM by every means possible, and raise the profile of this issue until Obama runs headlong into it. Then, while he’s nursing a broken nose and the MSM is staggering around blindly trying to wipe the egg from their faces, we win in 2012 (if not before).

Diversionary tactic the left has used since Day One. It’s not a question of his ‘citizenship.’ The question is about his ‘natural born citizenship.’ That can be answered only by the SCOTUS which has declined every opportunity to interpret the Framers’ meaning.
Abercrombie has been around the political scene so long now, it’s hard to imagine what this whole brouhaha was about. An umpteen year office holder doesn’t blurt out comments such as he made over the holidays and into the new year. A skilled pol knows you get the information first, then you open the door and/or ask questions. Nor does a skilled pol put out endlessly conflicting statements about the status of his investigation. Hard to imagine Abercrombie is really that stupid, but then again ...

Of course it was staged. The original documentation, whatever it was, has been purged from the records, and they are having a hard time of it, beccause those records had been seen my some.
Now they are taking the opportuity to reconstruct the record from a separate set of “archives.” Why? Because they know the public momentum of factual inquiry cannot be stopped.

As far as I am comcerned, every law Obama has signed is null and void ,pending documented proof that he is constitutioally qualified to occupy the office.The left are getting desperate.They know if the truth comes out, it will be as if Obama vetoed every law that had been sent to him by Congress. Anything we can get at this point is better than nothing, but just requiring a birth certificate to be shown will not insure that the SOS has any set criteria for deciding which BC’s are good enough, because we have no definition of “natural born citizen”.
For instance, if it turns out that Obama was born a year later and SAD was old enough to pass on US citizenship even if Obama wasn’t born in the US.... there are some who would say that since he was a US citizen at birth he was therefore a “natural born citizen”, even though he was not born in the country.
Without a definition for “natural born citizen” the SOS can interpret however he/she wants, and the law will not prevent that. Nor would it allow regular people to have standing to contest it, so we’d have this same circus all over again.
And there would be nothing to stop Abercrombie or any other bureaucrat from producing a forged document. This is happening with illegal immigrants right and left.
And I really do believe that was what Abercrombie was intending to do. He brought up this BC issue thinking that he could “find” something that would resolve the issue even if the eligibility bills he already knows about were passed. Like Rush, I believe he had the approval or urging of Obama’s handlers before he brought this up out of the blue. They know he doesn’t have a legally valid BC in Hawaii. So they must have been intending to produce a forgery.
Which fits the scenario for him backing down when he learned that a state could still pass a law requiring the transaction logs to be disclosed.
Right now we need to do 2 things, I believe:
1. We need to do whatever we can to either amend existing bills or introduce a new bill in a new state so that we end up with at least one state law forcing the definition of “natural born citizen” to be decided by the courts and requiring transaction logs to be disclosed.
2. We need to keep it in the public eye that Abercrombie claimed that their investigation showed that record of Obama’s birth was in the ARCHIVE, not at the HDOH. Which is a HUGE difference. Birth certificates are not stored at the Archive; they are stored at the HDOH. This means that not only has the HDOH indirectly confirmed that they have no legally valid BC for Obama, but Abercrombie has also indirectly confirmed that.
Their statements conflict, though, because Fukino said they have Obama’s “original birth certificate” on record, whereas Abercrombie’s statement suggests that they didn’t find a birth certificate at the HDOH, but only a written statement in the Archives. The conflicting statements should compel an investigation, and this is a bandwagon that folks like Rush or Hannity could get on - emphasizing that something stinks in Hawaii, which is a major, major issue I’d like to see get major attention.
I played Clue with my kids last night and my brain was so drained and taxed I could hardly think. We just finished a game a little bit ago and I actually won (lol) so my mind must be clearing a little. They want to play again, after we play spoons just to give my brain a little rest. My mind doesn’t want to leave this subject because I can sense the tide rising on this issue just like a pirhana (sp?) senses blood in the water. This is SO CLOSE to breaking open.
If we can all get on board with a bill that would resolve ALL the garbage we’ve been through together on this issue, through thick and thin.... victory will be SO SWEET, for the “birthers”, for the “NBC-ers”, and for the whole country that loves the Constitution and rule of law. We’ve had our differences. We’ve argued about what should be the emphasis versus what is a waste of time. We’ve accused one “side” or the other of trying to sabotage the legitimate concerns. But right now our paths all converge, because the bill that serves one will serve all.
Together we can do this, and I am so excited about the prospect I can hardly think straight. lol. Let’s do this! Let’s roll.

I can guarantee that these laws will be challenged on Constitutional grounds.
