In the good news for some and not others, the Yankees now have Tampa Bay's Rafael Soriano on their roster.

Ex Syracuse University coach Paul Pasqualoni has been named head coach of the University of Connecticut football team.

In politics, Reince Priebus elected new RNC chairman, replacing Michael Steele.

Thank you so much. You know I’ve been praying for Katherine. Did Carolyn get someone to clean her fish? I would have had my maid do it.

I got a call from my sil asking if I could "babysit" my dad because she needs to get away. I told her I wanted to visit dad and that I would be there shortly.

Well, after driving for 30 minutes and only getting 6 miles I decided to pull in to a grocery store, buy groceries and return home. The weather and roads are horrible. Cars were off the road and visibility was near zero because of the whiteouts.

It's good to be home.

Haven't heard yet how the fishing expedition went for Carolyn. As soon as I find I will let you know.

Thank you for your prayers as well.

I worked our pancake breakfast at church this morning. So many concerned parishioners came up and told me they were keeping Kathryn in their prayers over the week.

We have mighty fine folks in this country. Makes me so proud to be associated with them, and you!

Yes, ma'am. Today is not a new injury, so apparently a spasm of the old injury. My one year anniversary is coming up on the 11th. How should I celebrate?

She wanted to go out to watch the football games.

Nita, it was horrible out there. With great care, I could have made it to their house, but coming back in the dark would have been terrible. I didn't want to risk it.

Where we live we are right in line with the snow band. Blah!

Yes, I do. Are you Tudor?

Glad I found the thread. Have a feeling I’m gonna need a little sanity soon.

Evenin’ everybody, just got home from a rehearsal with bandmates. Concerned about one of the bandmates, won’t go into detail on the internet though.

Mr. Prairie has the day off tomorrow. He’s a happy camper, so am I. He gets darned few days off.
