Great Secret In Pyramid Construction Finally Revealed

The Egyptians had a secret that allowed construction of the pyramids.

Labor Unions! I am not kidding. I about fell off my stationary bike today watching Egypt’s Ten Greatest Discoveries.

The great genius Zahi Hawass came to this conclusion because:

There is evidence that some of them had their broken bones cared for (thus they had union healthcare) They ate a very good diet consisting of fresh fish and grains.

Some of their organizers were buried in granite tombs composed of discard of the pharaoh’s tombs they were working on so these were the highly valued community organizers.

Some of us less intelligent people might think that slaves were a valuable commodity especially since so many of them would be needed and this is why they were given good food and medical care.

Of course we would be wrong.

That is why Dr. Hawass is such brilliant person. He could be called an “Egyptian Al Gore” so great is his intellect!

I again didn’t believe my ears but when preparing this post this Labor Union fact is even mentioned in the Wikipedia article about this series. Check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypt's_Ten_Greatest_Discoveries

So...therefore...union workers can be made more productive through the use of a whip.

Cool! Let’s go all Egyptian!

That guy will say anything.

What exactly did he do to be appointed Grand Poobah of Antiquities anyway? You can bet it was political.

I bet the Egyptian pyramid builders were more motivated by whips and chains than good healthcare ....weren’t they called “slaves” back then?

Wait until next week. He’ll find Jimmy Hoffa under one of the pyramids.

The evidence doesn't support slaves as the builders of the pyramids and, though you didn't say it, certainly not Jewish slaves.

The next shovel ready project. The Great Obama Pyramid. The Press will swoon over the idea. It could be built in Death Valley.

And NO ONE seems to consider the infrastructure needed to pull all this construction off without some kind of civil organization.

Military might alone could not maintain order and production as long as it was needed to complete the pyramids so it must have been a more structured environment ... like a work week with time off, etc.

THAT means there had to have been a police force and judicial system as well.

Food had to be provided to a desert people that was not only a labor force but the support personel also.

That means there had to have been a shipping/handling/transportation system.

The older I get, the more I think about the practical way life was and is, and this is one of the conclusions I've come to.

The pyramids were built by probably 30,000 or more slaves each driven by men who didn’t care if they lived or died.

Think about that for a moment...

Slaves were property and as such valuable in their own right. Then, add in the Pyramids at Giza are not simple piles of stone, but very sophisticated both in their construction and in design.

They were not built by a people who did not care, nor by a people who thought nothing of the deaths of highly skilled workers.

Finds near the pyramids at Giza prove that the workers were highly valued and well fed. No whips involved.

Further, there is no existing evidence which proves conclusively that the pyramids were not preexisting and later rebuilt during the reign of Khufu and sons.

Hawass is a womanizing clown whose intellect soars past the obvious and into the stratosphere of Egyptian and Islamic nationalism.

Does this mean there were 20,000 slaves working on the pyramids, while another 20,000 supervisors stood around watching?

Fortunately, "The Amazind Adventures of Dr. Hawass" was a short-lived reality series....it was absolutely horrible.

"Zoe! Zoe! Come and lay down with me - Dr. Hawass...."

The older I get, the more I think about the practical way life was and is, and this is one of the conclusions I've come to.

And when one really delves into that side of things, concerning our known human history, the stranger become the conventional explanations...

Consider, for example, our “cave” dwelling ancestors. While they were living in caves, the sea level was hundreds of feet below present day. Most people like to live near the oceans, true today and very likely true thousands of years ago. So what were those “cave” dwellers really doing? What were their vanished coastal relatives doing (the existence of which modern science steadfastly ignores/denies)?

It's just Og chipping away at a stone to make a wheel and then on to Bo talking on his cellphone to some fat-faced brunette with a false tan.

And for G_d’s sake do NOT look up!!!
