It was! We ate every bit!

I did absolutely NOTHING of value today!!! Same here! (unless reading books on Patrick Henry and WWI count) It's kind of nice just to sit back and do nothing. :)

You did more than I! LOL.
I am currently reading “Master and Commander”. While most of it is written in archaic nautical language, every once in a while the author engages in a metaphor of breathtaking beauty. I have to stop short, and read the description again!
To: geologist
Thank you, Geologist.
Wishing you the Happiest New Year.

I didn’t do anything much either. I made veggie soup. Yum! :)
Yours sounds good, too! :)

You're welcome!
It does make you feel like a kid again, doesn't it?
Several years ago, 8 of us 'girls' spent 4 days there. Talk about a second childhood! We had such a great time nobody wanted to leave.
4 of us are Californians but the others are Arkansas, Missouri, New Jersey, and Wisconsin!
A TOTAL BLAST was had by all!

Reading sure can be fun/interesting. :)
Of all the books you read, what would be your favorite type/genre of book?
To: oldteen
Cute Graphic, Teenie. Thank you.
Wishing you a beautiful New Year.

The Chinese Cabbage was just taken out of the ground, washed, and chopped up and stir-fried. It was so fresh and crunchy, unlike anything i have ever purchased in a store. I have a big crop, so I will fry some up, Polish Style, maybe make some Japanese pickles, or kimchee.
I shall have to get an authentic recipe for kimchee from some Korean Folks.

I like Historical Fiction. The Thicker, the Better! Some of my OLD favorites are Moby Dick and Ben Hur.
To: left that other site
I have read Ben Hur, but not Moby Dick.
I love historical fiction (and plain old history books) too. Especially ones about wars. :)

I know someone right here on FR who can tell you everything there is to know about kimchee! :)

I LOVE the stuff!
I wrote a rock’n’roll song about the Korean National Dish.
“Bibimbop!”

Way cool! Leave it to a musician to turn food into music! :)
