"That was written and posted about 7 years ago. Amazing it all popped up today....thank you for finding it!" Seeing Fish Hawk's tagline reminded me that I had written it. When I searched this computer and my back-up CD, it wasn't available.
I went to another computer, which is somewhat fickle. Eventually I found it.
I can often find some of my previously posted poems by doing a simple Google search. That capability gives me an incredible feeling of impowerment, and humility. I am now connected to the world.

( I'm feeling very good. This worries me, because it may be a precursor to my doing something stupid.)

Yes I am! Still delving back in the source codes to glean graphics - back to October 8 of last year.

I have so many pings to answer, but was unable to get on FR long enough last night to do it.
Thank you, JC, Meg, T-Pam, Luv and Polly for your compliments on my “Wisteria” graphic and poem. I snagged that graphic quite some time ago, and after seeing Meg’s poem yesterday with the lovely graphic and poem by Thomas Hood, (#1896) I decided to post it, with the ‘right’ poem.
Hope you are all starting off with a wonderful Wednesday!

I'm glad you enjoyed my "How Do I Love Thee" post yesterday, JC! Everyone here is so talented - and I 'just wanted to
fit in! LOL!
That is sure a cute graphic of those two kittens!

Yes, I love purple too! I have that poem framed and hanging in my kitchen. I just LOVE the words - (It kinda makes ‘getting old’ a little fun and silly.)

Thank you ladies. It was a very touching moment, when the students handed the Sgt. (their teacher) the yellow ribbon from the old oak tree!

Like A Hypocrite
January 26, 2011
Ray Stedman told about a young man who had stopped attending the church Ray was pastoring. The young man said that when he was at work he would sometimes lose his temper and treat co-workers poorly. Then, when Sunday rolled around, he didnt want to go to church because he felt like a hypocrite.
Stedman told his young friend, A hypocrite is someone who acts like something he isnt. When you come to church, you are acting like a Christian. You are not a hypocrite at church. Suddenly, the young man realized where he was being a hypocrite. He recognized that the answer was not in avoiding church but in changing the way he was at work.
The term hypocrite is from a Greek word that means play-actor. It means we pretend to be something we arent. Sometimes we forget our true identity as believers in Jesus. We forget that we are accountable to God. When we do that, we live the way we once walked (Eph. 2:2) and thus are hypocrites.
Lets not let our old ways make us act like someone were not. Instead, through Gods grace, lets live in a way that shows we are alive together with Christ (v.5). Thats a sure cure for hypocrisy.
Consistency! How much we need
To walk a measured pace,
To live the life of which we speak,
Until we see Christs face. Anon.
It is the inconsistent Christian who helps the devil the most.
Read: Ephesians 2:1-10
God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love . . . made us alive together with Christ.
Ephesians 2:4-5

Thank you for your kind replies on my daffodils yesterday! When I first saw those flowers, the rays behind it were flashing through, with an awsome brilliance.
Of course it was too large to post here, but I wanted to post the graphic anyway - so I put the text on it, and shrunk it.
Every living thing has it’s own beauty, doesn’t it?

Very interesting graphic, ML! I hope the firemen were able to rescue that dog!
Did the storms cause any damage in your area yesterday?
