We dont know very much about eternity, but we do know that for the Christian, whatever our emotional and physical struggles are now, they will cease then. Life with God will be better by far. Woo hoo!! What a glorious truth. Good Morning friend.

I’m gonna be back with you all in a little while. I have something to post when I get started for the day...like dressing myself! I still have some Christmas stuff to be packed....isn’t that awful? There’s just been other things that took priority over the Christmas stuff.

An Old Oak Tree
I have an old oak tree
It's long gnarling limbs reaching high
Sitting like a sentry in my front yard
Fingers touching the spacious sky
The little squirrels run up and down
The huge old tree trunk so big
Scouting the ground and the grass
For acorns they like to dig.
I know the birds live there too
Birdsong whispers through the air
I watch them sometimes flying past
When the weather is sunny fair.
Nature is filled with marvelous treasures
For all people to truly enjoy
God furnishes us with the beauty
Filling our lives with worthwhile employ.
Now that old tree wakes up each morning
With sunlight filtering through its foliage
Sending out beams of light and heat
Through leaves, limbs, twigs and branches.
So when you're tired and lonely
With no place to go and no one to see
Just visit an old oak tree
And it'll greet you like it does me.

Have we a sense of wonder at the miracles around us?
Imagine someone told you that such a tree as this one with the poem would grow from an acorn that we can hold a dozen of in our hand. Would be believe it?
Suppose someone posited that a tiny egg and a sperm too small to see would unite inside a woman and grow a new human being. Would you believe it?
Of course we know such things, and a million other wonders that are equally miracles and we do not wonder or sense astonishment at the handiwork of God, except occasionally, at a beautiful sunrise or sunset, and that we attribute to mother nature. We have been taught evolution, many accept it.
The eye alone is a totally miraculous organ,...VISION.
Sometimes I find creation so magnificent it overwhelms me with feelings of how Awesome is our LORD God Jehovah!
Be amazed, .. remember it.

Every day I am amazed at the beauty God has given us and all we have to do is look. All is glorious. In the spring I love to sit out when my big trees are barely putting out a little sprig of green. Then in only a few weeks it is full of lush green leaves, providing us with comforting shade to enjoy. God had a plan for sure!
