Like exploding stars, black holes, dark matter? How about cosmic intrigue, deep space astronomy , or origins of the universe?
Then youre gonna love this.

It’s designed to detect neutrinos, not gather light.

The first results showed that the sun's output of neutrinos from the isotope boron 8 was less than expected.
Was this the device, so to speak, that was used to show changes in neutrino flux correlated with changes in radioactive decay rates?

Gravity at the South Pole is much, much stronger than it is here in the US. It starts increasing noticeably at the equatorial region.

Looking for the “origins of the universe?” I hope no TAX DOLLARS are being wasted on that!
We already KNOW the origin of the universe!

Atheist scientists have spent hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars (trillions?) trying to disprove the Bible and have made NO PROGRESS whatsoever! It’s time to end this leftist scam altogether!

Right, they first tried capturing neutrinos in deep caves. You need somewhere deep where most other particles are blocked, and hope a neutrino shows up and interacts with another particle in the water tank. Your quote says they found “less” than expected, not sure that means they found any. In any event, they are searching for very tiny and scarce particles, they are not otherwise “seeing” the universe and it’s not a “telescope” as I understand the term. It’s kind of like panning for gold.

It’s the exact same thing as a telescope, except you are looking for neutrinos instead of photons. :)

Of course it's a real question. You didn't read about this? It was from Stanford back during the summer. I'll see if I can find it in their news releases. Wait a second. Here it is:
The strange case of solar flares and radioactive elements.

That’s an interesting article. As so often happens, scientists go looking for ways to prove their theories and end up finding something totally unexpected.

The planet x people have been referring to this thing as a sort of conspiracy to build this to watch a cataclysmic event headed toward earth from our blind side (directly south). As ridiculous or paranoid as that may sound, I do remember a thread on FR , the past few weeks, where some website was tracking an approaching object.
Oh... here it is.
Huge Ships approaching Earth.
Here's the source of their info.
