I sometimes think our Military men and women are taken for granted.

I would love to know what happened to the cat you took in. I know how well you said you treated it and took it to the Vet, etc. Usually when you are good to one, they don’t just go away. It was good of you to fix it a bed and do the things you did for it. I feel sorry for little creatures also. I can’t help but think they are put here for us to care for, just as I feel the birds are here for us to care for.

I did get one cat years ago that was hanging around my back door. It was solid white and very young. It would meow, meow....so I put something warm out for it to lay on during that night and gave it a little milk, thinking tomorrow it would be gone. I was younger then and didn’t realize from then on, it had a home. We had that cat many, many years and was so sad when she did get sick and die.
