Starting so young she is going to be an expert before a lot of us even learn how it's done!
By the time she is 12 she will be a young entrepreneur designing websites for those who are graphics challenged!
Like me! :)

She loves to see all of the graphics at Amy’s Place. She loves Caturdays.
I may put the updated version of PSP on her computer for her to play with. Only problem is her computer is just limping along. May have to let her use mine once in awhile. Next step will be teaching her HTML.

Amy, Nintendo Wii released a new ‘game’ called “UDraw Tablet” last month. I got it for my grandaughters, (an early Hanukkah/Christmas/Birthday gift, and they LOVE it. The more they ‘play’ with it, the more they are finding that it can do. They can write, draw, color, paint, with all sorts of colors, tip sizes, etc. Then you have the option to print your work or email it to your friends. (You must have the Wii remote for it to operate.) If Marissa likes art, this is an incredible ‘must have’.

It’s a bit pricey - but well worth the cost, as it opens up all kinds of possibilities. (Wal-Mart carries it, and also the remote.)

Change Of Direction
December 6, 2010
The United States Secret Service was founded in 1865. Their mission? To deal with counterfeiters in an attempt to protect the dollar and, as a result, Americas national economy. This targeted group of law enforcement officers, however, experienced a change of direction in 1902. They became best known for protecting the President of the United States, although their charge still embodies a variety of tasks.
That change of direction in the Secret Service duties is nothing compared to the completely altered lives of the believers at Thessalonica. They had a spiritual transformation that turned their lives around, which was noticed by people far and wide. Paul wrote, You turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God (1 Thess. 1:9). And you became examples to all in Macedonia and Achaia who believe. . . . Your faith toward God has gone out (vv.7-8). The change of direction they displayed was dramatic, to say the least abandoning the worship of idols to embrace relationship with the true and living God. And people noticed the difference in their lives.
I wonderdo people recognize such a profound change in our hearts and lives?
If you are going in the wrong direction,
Or if you have no goal in view,
Let Christ transform you, have control,
Then honor Him in all you do. Hess
Coming to Christ is not merely informational; its transformational.
Read: 1 Thessalonians 1
They themselves declare . . . how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God.
1 Thessalonians 1:9

I bet your granddaughters loved that gift. It sounds very interesting, yorkie! Wishing you a great day.
We had some snow last night. The yards are covered but I think the snow plows or salt trucks have been by as the streets are looking okay. It was 20 on the patio this morning and the weather man said the wind chill made it feel like single digits. It is really cold here. Its reported we could get into low 40's by Thursday....Well, yippee or something! Maybe I will lay out in the sun...LOL!!
