The science-fiction genre has been around almost as long as movies themselves have.

I was just looking at the old version of “Things to Come” on youtube.
Maybe I missed it scanning the list, but is Soylent Green on that list?
Not a bad list I would have included ‘Outland’ though.
I disagree with quite a few of the author’s choices.
Where’s “They Saved Hitler’s Brain”?
S-F ping.

almostr any of the Babylon 5 movies are good.
Great book (Heinlein, of course), but I heard the movie was very disappointing. Anyone like it?
Gotta be kidding me.
1) No way the Original War of the Worlds should be ranked below the remake.
2) No Battlestar Galactica??? The sci-fi Channel remake MOVIE was great
3) Where the hell is Planet of the Apes w/ Heston!!!???
The Last Man on Earth (starring Vincent Price...and the zombies) is a fun watch. Amazing how he carries the whole movie.
Jurrasic Park was a much better movie than most of those listed.
X the Unknown
What? Where’s “Killer Clowns From Outerspace”?
I don’t know if I’d consider “The Omega Man” science fiction and I would add the Star Trek, Next Generation movies too. :)
I’m not a science fiction movie guy at all, but I loved “Ironman”!
And drop that horrible "Starship Troopers".
