THE HAIRCUT
One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut.
After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, ‘I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community service this week.’ The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a ‘thank you’ card and a dozen roses waiting for him at His door.
Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, ‘I cannot accept money from you; I’m doing community service this week.’ The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a ‘thank you’ card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.
Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, ‘I cannot accept money from you. I’m doing community service this week.’ The Congressman was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.
And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.
BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!

The new conservatives are going to have to get used to changing lots of Liberal Diapers in the new Congress......
Jerry’s recomendation is not to use the cheap diapers you change several times a day......
instead you use the ones that say “over 25 pounds”-and change them weekly-

It has been a more somber day. My brother left for Oklahoma this AM & I decided to cancel PM plans to just start going thru what I need to go thru.
Had all the materials printed at office max for the thank you notes. The funeral parlor was charging 50.oo for little cards. I passed on that as well as the “guest book”. For less than that I have color photos, printed on parchment notes & color photo labels. Will maybe punch those out tomorrow. For the guest book I picked up a great “blingly” hot pink with sparkles journal which was perfect..
So many of the fees are outrageous & not much you can do about them.. there are a few you can chose.
Hoping for a southern trip (Jaycee... maybe this time???) & trip heading west to spend Thanksgiving with my brother. If I am in your area want to meet up for lunch/dinner. Will NOT pile in on you. I will have my pups & we are just content in the van or at motels. Since I DONT DO BEDS, motels are usually a waste. I sleep on floor at home (20 years or so) and just don’t wish to sleep on floor at motel.
Slight chance I might be traveling with friend Mark.
Just watched the Cavs & dozed off a few times. Have a pretty big sleep deficit, need to start working on catching up.
