What a week we had last week! It was a mixture of events, from the breathtaking rescue of the Chile miners to the McDonnell-Coons and Angle-Reid debates.

GD gave the prayer at the high school football game last night, carried on the coast wide radio. I gotta tell you, this young girl has head on straight, goals in life laid out in her mind and wanting to go to Brazil on summers to witness for Christ......When I was in high school well, won't go into that for sure...
I am gonna do some work on my shack in the back today, needs it big time, looking around, everything needs cleaning. Shame too, can't get anyone to help me from the big house, I have tried the ‘hurt leg’ bit, put hand on head with a moan or two, nothing, no one offered to help. I am wondering, do you think they have found me out???
Time for that last cup of coffee, rest a few and then get busy...

If what’s going on here is any indication, I can only imagine. Some people have no integrity when it comes to maintaining there power. Claw,scratch, and kick to stay in power. The ends justifies the means. Thankfully it is not making much of a difference here, people are seeing right through it but since it’s not-I just keep waiting to see what else they will do the more desperate they get. Now THAT is the fine upstanding people we want in power-NOT. ((((((((Iowa Granny))))))))

Please cover these candidates who are your servants and their families in your loving presence and give them the strength and endurance they need.

You have a lot of good years left. I have an 85 year old friend & 83 year old friend that are still very active despite what the calendar says & all the medical issues in their lives. And they both have plenty

Besides...now that my mother has gone to her reward I think I will be able to make that southern trip. I want YOU to show me around, take me to dinner & share some laughs (you have a month to prepare.. LOL)
