I was just watching my local news here inn Minneapolis-St Paul.
They broke in to show live footage of the first Chilean miner being brought to the surface.
This is good news!
32 more miners to bring to the surface. Fingers crossed, everyone!

now 34 more...two rescuers have gone down.....
The second guy they sent down is their equivalent of Navy SEALs, I believe they even train with the SEALs. He's a tactical diver/medic with 10 years of experience. He'll probably be the last person out, which has got to be nerve wracking.

The second guy who came up reached in his bag and threw presents to all the rescuers and put his fist in the air hugging everyone in sight! Wow! This is really great and uplifting to watch.
