redrock had some wonderful threads that were focused on the importance of certain aspects of our nation. One such was a tribute to Memorial Day which used his personal experiences in combat to reflect on that day’s importance.

Thanks for your post -- redrock and I were kindred spirits in many ways.
I loved him and we so seldom crossed paths.
I will miss him greatly and he will be a figure in my prayers for a very long time.
