I don't like the pink chin straps, wistles, towels, etc. being used by the NFL this week. There are better ways to support cancer awareness. Why should breast cancer be singled out? Why not prostate cancer?
I sure miss Pete Rozelle as NFL Commissioner.

Man up! Any man sure of his sexuality can wear any color he wants, particularly for such a good cause.
If you want to complain about feminine behavior, complain about grown men dancing like Glee cast members when they score a touchdown. BTTT!
Heck, Penn State used to wear pink and black.

Prostate cancer is “honored” with the red hats. Why don’t you pay attention? :-)

Very well said. It looks like some people need to wake up

Looked to me like the players hit just as hard, ran just as fast amd played just fine with pink on. Tell that to Jay Cutler. Something has pissed off his offensive line. LOL!

I don’t see how a man wearing pink has anything to do with supporting women. You think all those players wearing pink are the supportive-of-women types?
No one is against cancer awareness or cold toward those among us who suffer from this tough disease.
But, please. When I have to buy milk in pink cartons, have pink wrappers on my hamburgers and watch the NFL in pink, it is so far gone from “supporting women” that it is danger of becoming a joke. And THAT’s what is not supportive of women.
Know when to fold ‘em. All things in moderation. Overexposure leads to contempt. Etc.

Why not brain injury, or the inability to walk after retiring.
Susan B Coleman foundation donates to Planned Parenthood, thats all I need to know.

Well, I just found out that I have breast cancer, and I appreciate that these men would show their concern and care for women like me. I love men like these.

They suck. The 3-0 start is a fluke. The Bears are regressing to the mean.

If this is connected to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, I must object strenuously - they contribute to Planned Parenthood and I would die before I would don any of their regalia. Not only that, but they don't fund any research about connections between abortion and breast cancer.

Yeah ... prostate cancer alone kills far more men than breast cancer. But in this PC world it's all about touchy feely breast cancer ... excuse my choice of words. Bottom line my wife is pissed at me because I brought up the issue of NFL football going along with this pinky crap for the second season now ... come on stick to football.

Why does breast cancer get so much national exposure? Especially since they support Planned Parenthood.
Why don’t they support other diseases that kill a lot more people than breast cancer?

That has nothing to do with it. I don’t want something being hawked by every player on every play when I am watching football — and, yes, something IS being hawked and it cheapens what is a good cause.
The Komen foundation has becoming such a huge marketing machine that it is completely understandable that most consumers are now chafing under the feeling that pink is becoming, well, obnoxious.
Instead of being breast cancer awareness, it’s become awareness of a “nonprofit” marketing scheme that has taken over the world.
