Good evening.
The NON-Recovery Fall is here, and leading into election day, it's expected that higher unemployment figures will not help the Dems.
Related to that, in a shocker, the Cleveland Plain Dealer has endorsed John Kasich for Governor over the incumbent Dem, Strickland. This is a "Did I read that right?" moment: a huge plus for Kasich.
I guess even a Lib paper in the most liberal part of the state can't hide from the truth.
This looks so good, know that I am going to have some fresh yard eggs today. Got to rake up some fresh pine straw for the laying house, can’t remember when I got some store eggs.

I would not have believed it Molly, but it looks like it just might happen. Of course the usual suspects are sending oodles of money here to try to save Feingold and Barrett both. The DNC, Unions and Hollywood are sending millions. They have put up ads against Johnson and Walker both that are so off the wall and some just outright lies to try to save their rears. I think in some aspects it has backfired on them cause a lot of the media had to come out against the ads cause they were so untrue. Praying we can hang on-here and everywhere else! Also praying that when it happens, it will also make a difference. I remember still being elated when we had a Republican congress and president and it was for naught!
That is my prayer as well.
When I see the example here, I can imagine what they are doing every where else in their desperate attempt to retain power.
I just heard about Dr. Marvin Scott running in IN-10 as a solid conservative...
WHOA...there was a no-hitter in post season yesterday???!!!
The dems are giving up on another congressional seat:

That is so funny. I understand he cannot put a whole sentence together, very well, without the teleprompter.
I’m DE-lighted to read that...
Indeed. Not only GO PHILLIES but how ‘bout Halladay and his No hitter????
I love October
Slowly getting better...back to work but no heavy lifting etc for a while...thanks for remembering ;-)
Oh yea....Doc Halladay...Phillies powerhorse....first time in 57 years...(He joined a Yankee (Don Larsen ‘56 )in that top billing lol).
I have been amazed, but it takes a long time to get my strength back after a UTI. Kidney infections, for me, take two to three MONTHS. Your brother is in my prayers.
You’re a good sis/mom/grandmom/aunt. (((NEETS)))
I just walked past the tv and mother murray (D-WA) and her eye teeth look like Halloween vampire teeth, they are really long.
God have mercy on our beleagured land.
You are just so sweet.....
....I wish he’d take better care of himself. He works very very very hard to provide for his kids...Mon-Fridays and he works on the weekends on call....
That is the man in him, I think. I truly think that men are given the desire by God to provide for his family and to protect them. That is why many men work long hours and some, as we’ve all seen, literally work themselves to death. Your brother is just responding to the image of God in himself. It is natural.
A few years ago our group held retreats, one for the ladies in the autumn, and one for the men, in the spring. At each, there was a slumber party feature. Almost all the ladies chose to spend the night. NONE of the men did so. Their wives and children were in the town and in their own homes. The men chose to go home at night. I saw that as the women’s desire to bond and form relationships and men’s desire to protect their families. They almost all said to me something like, “many locals know we’re having this retreat. Thieves know it our homes are more vulnerable.”
AMEN! AMEN!
THNX! THNX!
